Antonini Navi Delivers First Full-Custom Seamore 34 Crossover Yacht Matilde7

Antonini Navi has delivered its first full-custom crossover yacht, the 34m superyacht Matilde7, marking another milestone for the Italian shipyard following the yacht's launch earlier this year.

As the first yacht built at its La Spezia facility, the 34m vessel was designed by Hydro Tec, with interiors by Hot Lab and an in-house technical platform developed by Antonini Navi.

A Custom Platform Designed for Future Growth

Although Seamore 34 was commissioned as a one-off yacht, Antonini Navi developed the underlying steel-and-aluminum platform with repeatability in mind. Future owners will be able to personalize layouts, accommodation and styling while benefiting from an established engineering foundation.

The design draws inspiration from commercial and military vessels, incorporating a vertical bow, reverse-raked bridge windows, pronounced bridge wings and sculpted exterior volumes. Rather than following conventional explorer yacht styling, Hydro Tec has developed a crossover profile intended to balance long-range capability with contemporary aesthetics.

The platform forms the basis of the shipyard's long-term strategy to expand into semi-custom steel superyachts while maintaining the flexibility expected from fully bespoke construction.

Hot Lab Creates a Contemporary Interior

Hot Lab has designed an interior that pairs contemporary detailing with warmer, more traditional materials. Teak finishes, pastel color palettes and ribbed surfaces are used throughout to maximize natural light and create visual continuity between living areas.

The superyacht's arrangement places particular emphasis on uninterrupted circulation between indoor and outdoor spaces. More than 150 square meters of living space spans the main deck, while the upper deck provides approximately 160 square meters of exterior entertaining areas, creating multiple spaces for dining, relaxing and socializing.

Large glazed openings further strengthen the connection with the surrounding environment while maintaining the practical layout expected of a long-range cruising yacht.

Sea Trials Confirm Long-Range Capability

Before delivery, Seamore 34 completed an extensive series of sea trials that validated both her cruising performance and onboard comfort. At a cruising speed of 10 knots, the steel displacement yacht achieved a range of more than 4,300 nautical miles, while reaching a top speed of 14 knots.

Antonini Navi also released detailed acoustic and vibration measurements recorded during testing. With the motor yacht at anchor and onboard systems operating, noise levels in the owner's suite measured 39.2 dB(A). Vibration levels in the main salon adjacent to the engine room were recorded at 0.32 mm/s, figures intended to demonstrate the effectiveness of the yacht's engineering and propulsion installation.

More Projects Underway

The delivery comes as Antonini Navi continues to build its presence in the custom steel yacht market. The shipyard is preparing to launch the 31.2-meter EVO 31 Hanaa, another Hydro Tec-designed steel explorer with interiors by Hot Lab. Scheduled for delivery this year, the 300GT yacht offers accommodation for 10 guests and a transoceanic range of 4,000 nautical miles.

Antonini Navi is also progressing construction of the 44-meter SUY 135, designed by Fulvio de Simoni with naval architecture by Arrabito Naval Architects. Due for delivery in 2026, the 462GT steel yacht features a split-level aft deck, twin Jacuzzis, accommodation for 10 guests and a range of 4,000 nautical miles.

The Antonini Navi SUY 135 is listed for sale on YachtBuyer and is currently asking €25,000,000.

Alongside these projects, the shipyard has confirmed that another 40-meter steel yacht is already under construction on speculation, with delivery planned for 2028.
