Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 30'2" beam and a 9'7" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 582 GT (Gross Tonnes).

She was delivered to her owners in November 2017.

Exterior Design

Valoria B is a 47m (154.2ft) Feadship whose design draws from the shipyard’s earlier motor yachts while incorporating modern construction and detailing. Her Midnight Blue steel hull contrasts with a Matterhorn White aluminium superstructure, finished with stainless steel trim and expanses of teak decking. The hull lines are long and steady, rising to a clean bow that transitions smoothly into the superstructure and bridge levels.

A walkaround main deck allows easy movement around the yacht, while the curved gunwale at the forward end and the cambered teak decks reflect the precision of Feadship’s craftsmanship. The exterior styling by Studio De Voogt is deliberately simple in form but carefully proportioned, giving the yacht a balanced and purposeful profile on the water.

The superstructure integrates a series of aluminium grilles within the mast and upper sections. These are structural rather than decorative, part of the yacht’s aluminium framework, and demonstrate the level of technical accuracy achieved in her build. Each deck level includes large open areas finished in teak, with stainless steel and teak stairways linking the main, bridge, and sun decks in a clean, functional arrangement.

Sliding doors in lacquered teak connect the interior lounges with the aft decks, while other exterior doors are finished in the same white as the superstructure for visual continuity. The sun deck provides open seating and sunbathing space, centred around a traditional mast that also houses technical systems such as the emergency generator and exhausts. Along the side decks, lacquered teak handrails reintroduce a classic feature that has become rare on modern yachts, further connecting Valoria B’s design to Feadship’s heritage.

Interior Design

Valoria B’s interior follows the same balance of classic influence and modern function seen on deck. The atmosphere is shaped by a combination of dark European walnut and light oak, with white-painted ceilings and wall panels that bring contrast and brightness to every space. The finish throughout is in high-gloss walnut, paired with stainless steel detailing that adds a subtle technical edge without disrupting the traditional character.

Large windows draw natural light deep into the saloons, giving the interior an open feel that offsets the richness of the woodwork. The main saloon is arranged conventionally, with clear sightlines and an emphasis on comfort and flow rather than formality. Careful joinery and exacting fitout standards are visible across the cabinetry and furniture, typical of Feadship’s custom approach.

The galley sits close to the owner’s stateroom, creating a natural connection between the private and service areas. It’s fitted with stainless steel countertops and bespoke storage, all finished in the same dark walnut as the main spaces. A central nook within the galley provides a casual spot for the owners or guests to spend time while meals are prepared. The design combines professional-grade functionality with the welcoming feel of a lived-in kitchen.
