The 60-meter yacht was built by Italian shipyard CRN and is recognized for her elegant styling and charter pedigree. She will also join the IYC charter fleet following the transaction.
A Notable Sale in the 60m Market
Delivered in 2011 and refitted in 2020, Light Holic has long been considered one of the standout builds of CRN’s 60-meter platform. At 984 GT, with a steel hull, aluminum superstructure, and Zuccon exterior design, the yacht merges timeless styling with practical capability. The sale underscores ongoing demand for proven pedigree yachts in the 55–65 meter range, particularly those that offer established charter reputations alongside modern comfort.
Exterior Design
The exterior profile by Zuccon International Project is marked by a raked bow, balanced superstructure, and generous exterior decks. Her cream-colored hull contrasts against the white superstructure, with a black boot top adding definition at the waterline. Teak decks across all levels complete the classic styling on board the motor yacht.
The sundeck is one of Light Holic’s signature features, offering a forward spa pool surrounded by sunpads, shaded bar, and open lounging areas. An indoor lounge allows guests to enjoy the views in comfort during hot or inclement weather.
On the upper deck of the superyacht, a large dining table seats 14 for al fresco meals, while a viewing area forward of the wheelhouse provides panoramic sightlines.
The aft main deck serves as a welcoming entrance, with wide glass doors and sculptural cabinetry creating a dramatic transition to the interior.
Technical elements of the design, such as integrated equipment in the wheelhouse and a carefully arranged engine room, ensure practicality without sacrificing aesthetics. Twin Caterpillar 3512-B engines deliver a cruising speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 15 knots, with a transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Zero-speed stabilizers enhance onboard comfort at anchor.
Interior Design
Light Holic’s custom interior was designed by Cristina and Alexandre Negoescu, their first superyacht commission. The theme is open, fluid spaces filled with natural light, achieved through reflective surfaces and carefully arranged sightlines.
The main salon and dining room form a single social space, unified by a hand-shaved oval carpet designed to mimic a seabed. Champagne and taupe furniture sits beneath a stainless-steel ceiling motif, while the dining area is framed by a monochromatic palette and disc-style light fixture.
The interior materials include bleached-grey brushed oak, stainless steel accents, white leather, mother-of-pearl, mirrors, and etched glass. These combine with decorative elements such as straw marquetry panels in moon-gold and platinum Sicis mosaics, creating a refined but warm aesthetic.
The upper saloon carries a slightly more formal atmosphere, with a sculptural metallic bar, etched glass doors, and recessed lighting highlighting cabinetry details. Throughout, both natural and artificial light are emphasized, with lacquered ceilings, silver-leaf wall panels, and reflective surfaces designed to accentuate volume.
A glass lift connects all decks, including the sundeck, ensuring smooth circulation for guests.
Accommodation
Light Holic accommodates up to 12 guests across six suites. The full-beam master cabin is positioned forward on the main deck and includes a private terrace, writing desk, sculptural seating, and a spa-style bathroom separated by a mother-of-pearl tiled wall. The en suite features a whirlpool bath, dual showers, and twin toilets.
The upper deck houses a VIP cabin with an open-plan layout, while the lower deck is arranged with three doubles and one twin. These cabins echo the master suite’s material palette, with light woods, mirrored accents, and soft metallic tones.
The yacht also carries up to 14 crew, with additional accommodation for charter support staff such as masseuses or security personnel. This flexibility ensures the service standard can match the requirements of demanding charter operations.
Amenities and Lifestyle
Guests enjoy a fully equipped gym, spacious beach club, and multiple dining and relaxation spaces across all decks. The sundeck jacuzzi, sunbathing areas, and shaded bar create a versatile setting for outdoor living. Quiet cruising is assured by advanced noise-reduction technology, developed in partnership with the University of Ancona during construction.
Recognition and Awards
Light Holic has received recognition at several international awards programs. She was a finalist at the 2012 World Superyacht Awards for Best Displacement Motor Yacht (500–1,299 GT) and shortlisted at the ShowBoats Design Awards in categories including Interior Design and Bespoke Furniture. At the Asia Boating Awards she was nominated for Best Custom Built Yacht and Best Yacht Design of the Year.
Future with IYC
The sale marks a new chapter as Light Holic enters the IYC charter fleet. With her spacious six-cabin arrangement, established design pedigree, and proven performance, she is well positioned to attract strong demand across Mediterranean and Caribbean itineraries.
