As the first hull in the Atlante Classic 35 series, the official launch took place at Mengi Yay’s shipyard in Tuzla, Istanbul.
A Contemporary Take on the Explorer Yacht
Designed as a full-displacement explorer yacht, the superyacht brings a modern perspective to the genre. The exterior and interior styling were entrusted to Paolo Dose of VYD Studio in Trieste, while naval architecture was handled by Giuseppe Arrabito of Arrabito Naval Architects in Livorno. The hull is built in steel, paired with an aluminum superstructure, a configuration that supports long-range cruising capabilities.

Initially conceived as a 33-metre concept under 300 GT, the project evolved through months of intensive development into a long-range explorer yacht boasting 330 GT of gross tonnage. "

The design of the motor yacht reflects an Italian sensibility throughout, with careful attention paid to both form and function. Paolo Dose described the project as an evolution from an initial 33-meter concept under 300 GT into a 34.5-meter explorer yacht at 330 GT, balancing generous living spaces, technical areas, and exterior decks within a compact footprint. The design emphasizes clean lines, efficient volume distribution, and a cohesive flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
A Fresh Interior Vision
Developed in close collaboration with the owners, Cabana’s interior features a calm, contemporary palette with light-wood paneling, subtle blue and grey tones, and premium Italian fabrics and materials. Large windows and an open-plan layout maximize natural light and connection to the sea, while the design maintains a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout.

Accommodation is spread across five en suite cabins, providing space for up to 10 guests. The layout also includes a beach club with an unfolding transom, as well as expansive deck areas for entertaining. The hardtop sundeck serves as the primary social hub, offering sunpads, a U-shaped sofa for al fresco dining, and a dry bar for relaxed gatherings.

Powered by twin Volvo Penta engines, the yacht is designed for long-range exploration with a cruising speed of 11 knots and a range exceeding 4,000 nautical miles. The yacht is fitted with CMC Marine LR 90 Electric Stabilisers to enhance comfort both underway and at anchor. Notably, her engines are IMO Tier III compliant, meeting the latest emission standards for global cruising.
The Team Behind Cabana
Cabana was commissioned by an experienced owner and represented by Mark Seaton throughout the project. Turkish marine consultancy firm Antalyachts, led by Fatih Dalkıran, provided project supervision and management, ensuring smooth execution from concept to launch. Hüseyin Mengi, Chairman of Mengi Yay, highlighted the significance of the project as a showcase of the shipyard’s capabilities and vision: “M/Y Cabana is one of the most distinctive results of our successful collaboration with VYD Studio. We take great pride in fully meeting our client’s expectations and believe our partnership with Atlante Yachts will continue for many more years to come.”
Cabana is set to cruise the Mediterranean this summer, marking the beginning of her operational life. The second hull in the Atlante Classic 35 series is currently for sale, with delivery scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
