This first Riva 54Metri marks a major step for the brand, known for its lineage of sleek, mid-size yachts, by entering the upper tier of the superyacht segment with a fully aluminum build and sub-500GT classification.
The yacht represents a longstanding design vision that harks back to the megayacht concepts of Carlo Riva in the 1960s and 1970s. Designed by Officina Italiana Design, led by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, the 54METRI project was developed in close collaboration with the Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee, chaired by Piero Ferrari, and the Group’s engineering team. The project was further supported by Sea Pros Yachts founder Alain Maaraoui, who worked alongside the owner throughout the negotiation and construction phases.
Exterior: A Sculptural, Sporty Silhouette in Classic Riva Style
Painted in a sophisticated trio of Moon Grey, London Grey and Bright Black with polished steel detailing and Riva’s signature aquamarine waterline, the exterior of the superyacht is both distinctive and understated. The low, elongated profile conceals four decks connected by a central elevator and features extensive outdoor areas optimized for private use and uninterrupted views.

The largest Riva ever built right now is the new wonder of the sea, a masterpiece of style by Officina Italiana Design that will turn heads in every marina and on every stretch of water on the planet.

At the stern, a large transformer platform leads to an expansive beach club with a five-meter pool and fold-down bulwarks that create terraces at water level. Further forward, a lounge-style aft cockpit welcomes guests onto the main deck, while at the bow, twin sunpads sit above a hidden technical area with hinged covers to ease the launch and retrieval of tenders and water toys.
Interior: Rich Materiality and Understated Elegance
Inside, the motor yacht carries forward Riva’s identity of clean luxury, with materials including Sahara Noir and Bianco Rhino marbles, natural teak paneling, and leather finishes used throughout the living spaces. The layout has been designed for discretion and comfort, with crew-only corridors ensuring privacy for guests across all decks.

Accommodation is arranged for up to 10 guests, with four guest cabins and a full-beam master suite located forward on the main deck. The crew quarters support 11 staff across five double cabins and a captain’s cabin adjacent to the bridge.
Engineering: Silent Cruising and Smart Navigation
Riva 54METRI’s performance has been engineered for comfort and reduced noise levels. The yacht features four electric stabilizer fins and two electric rudders to minimize vibration and movement. Special attention has also been paid to acoustic insulation across all decks.

The bridge is fitted with a suite of high-tech navigation equipment, including dual X-band radar units, 5G connectivity, Starlink satellite internet, a full ECDIS system, three 27-inch touchscreen displays and a 44-inch central stretch monitor, reflecting the advanced capabilities expected at this size category.
The 50Metri: Riva’s Smaller Award-Winning Superyacht
According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, the world's largest yacht database, Riva currently has two other models in its Superyacht Division: the Riva 70Metri and the Riva 50Metri. While little is publicly known about the 70Metri project, the 50Metri offers a valuable point of comparison to the newly launched flagship.
At 49 meters in length and built with a steel hull and steel-aluminum superstructure, the Riva 50Metri has been positioned as the entry-level model in the Riva Superyacht Division range. Though smaller than the new 54Metri, it remains substantial in both presence and range, offering up to 3,500 nautical miles and space for 10 guests across five cabins.

In contrast to the sleeker, all-aluminum construction of the 54Metri, the 50Metri emphasizes a more classic displacement profile with a focus on serene long-distance cruising.

Its layout includes features designed to enhance onboard living, such as fully opening aft saloon doors and drop-down side windows that create a seamless indoor-outdoor experience in the upper saloon. A dedicated skydeck with a hot tub and bar provides further open-air appeal, offering an additional guest focal point not mirrored on the 54-metre model.
The Riva 54Metri marks a major evolution for the brand, introducing its largest and most advanced superyacht to date. Positioned above the award-winning 50Metri, it expands Riva’s range with greater volume, refined outdoor spaces, and upgraded performance.
