The 35.37m open yacht Ginger was delivered to her owners in 2006 by Italian shipyard Pershing. Her naval architecture, interior and exterior has been penned by the Fulvio de Simoni design team.

Key Features

  • Hidden sundeck with bar
  • Four Mitsubishi gyro stabilisers
  • Full-beam angled master suite
  • Shallow draft for Bahamas cruising

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.2m beam and a 1.48m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 189 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the fourth yacht built on the Pershing 115 design.

Exterior Design

At 35m (114.8ft) in length with a 7.2m (23.6ft) beam, Ginger has the striking lines expected of a Pershing 115. Fulvio De Simoni drew the exterior with an emphasis on speed and sportiness, yet the deck spaces are surprisingly generous. A dark metallic grey hull and superstructure complete the sharp look, a finish that was fully repainted in 2024.

The aft deck sets the tone for outdoor life on board. A broad sunbed stretches across the stern, while a dining table seats ten comfortably beneath a removable awning supported by carbon poles. Steps lead down to the swim platform, which doubles as a boarding point for tenders and toys. Teak decking throughout has been renewed, giving the exterior a crisp, fresh look.

Ginger features two garages. Aft, a 4.45m (14.6ft) Williams Sport Jet tender is stowed alongside additional toys. Forward, beneath the bow sunpad, a second garage houses a crane and space for two Sea-Doos with room for more equipment. The bow itself is designed for relaxation, offering a large sunbed, movable lounge seating, and al fresco breakfast spots sheltered from the breeze.

Up top, the sundeck is cleverly hidden within the sleek superstructure. Sofas and an unfolding dining table allow 10–12 guests to dine under a removable shade system. Two fridges and an icemaker make the space self-sufficient, while a secondary helm station on the flybridge gives the captain 360-degree visibility when piloting in open air.

Stainless fittings, windlasses, and all exterior metalwork have been fully serviced, and the overall condition of the deck areas mirrors the sharp finish of the hull.

Ginger’s shallow draft opens up cruising grounds that larger yachts cannot reach.

Interior Design

The main deck salon opens through wide automatic glass doors. Ginger measures close to 200GT, and her interior volume feels generous given her low-profile lines. Fulvio De Simoni’s work inside mixes Venge wood with Alcantara and leather panels. Unique carved Venge wood doors, likely with Middle Eastern or Asian influence, set a distinctive tone for the guest areas.

The main salon features two dining tables that can be combined into one large setting for up to 12 guests. Chairs from the aft deck complete the arrangement. Large windows draw in natural light, and a separation allows guests to choose between privacy or direct access to the wheelhouse to observe the captain at work.

Just two steps below the main salon lies a second lounge. This space is more intimate, configured as a media and TV room for relaxed evenings. From here, access leads through to the guest cabins.

Bathrooms throughout follow a consistent theme: gold taps paired with mosaic tiles in gold and brown tones, contrasted by light pink marble and glass-fronted showers. Each bathroom includes a toilet, bidet, and generous vanity space.

Accommodation

Ginger accommodates 10 guests across four cabins, each with ensuite facilities.

The full-beam owner suite amidships has a distinctive angled bed set at 45 degrees to the centreline. This layout increases perceived space, allowing room for a seating area, a walk-in wardrobe, and large hull windows. The ensuite features marble, mosaic, and gold detailing with a spacious shower.

The VIP Cabin is positioned forward with another angled layout, creating additional space for a sofa and seating nook. It also benefits from a walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite with matching design elements.

Two twin cabins are located to port and starboard, each fitted with a Pullman berth. These cabins are ideal for children, bringing total guest capacity to ten. Both have ensuite bathrooms with the same design scheme.

Crew accommodation for five sits aft with a crew mess and direct access to the engine room. Practical separation from guest spaces ensures discretion during operations.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V4000M90) 3,697hp engines, motor yacht Ginger is capable of reaching a top speed of 35 knots, and comfortably cruises at 25 knots. With her 16,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 553 nautical miles. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.

Amenities

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort.
