The 40.8m motor yacht Lady Sarah was delivered to her owners in 2026 by Italian shipyard Benetti. The yacht's refined interiors have been crafted by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, while her exteriors have been penned by RWD.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.14m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 385 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the twenty-ninth yacht built on the Oasis 40M design. Launched in May 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Livorno yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in July 2026.

Exterior Design

Lady Sarah is the 29th yacht built on Benetti’s Oasis 40M platform, so there is a lot of proven thinking underneath the custom work. RWD’s exterior is easy to recognise, with a near-vertical bow, broad bands of dark glazing and a superstructure that stays surprisingly low for a 40.8m (133.9ft), 385GT yacht. Lady Sarah’s white hull and upperworks give the profile a cleaner, lighter look than some earlier Oasis 40Ms, while the long black window bands do most of the visual work amidships.

The stern is where the model earns its reputation. Benetti moved the tender garage forward of the engine room, which allowed the aft deck to sit much lower and opened the way for the Oasis Deck, with shallow terraces stepping down towards the water, an infinity pool and fold-down side wings that take the platform to more than 10m (32.8ft) across. We found that this completely changed how the main deck aft was used on the sistership we reviewed, turning an area that can be fairly anonymous on a conventional 40m yacht into the main place to spend time at anchor.

That arrangement also gives the main saloon a very different relationship with the stern. Large curved glass doors open directly onto the aft terrace, and the lowered seating outside preserves the view from inside instead of filling the sightline with furniture and bulwarks. It is one of the details that stood out in YachtBuyer’s five-star Benetti Oasis 40M review.

Lady Sarah also benefits from the model’s less obvious deck spaces. The upper deck aft adds another large terrace, while the foredeck has a recessed lounge reached along raised side decks, giving guests somewhere more sheltered and private away from the stern. On the sundeck, the hardtop covers the central dining area and leaves open deck forward and aft for sunbathing, a spa pool and loose furniture.

Interior Design

Lady Sarah’s owner came to the project after years of chartering in the Mediterranean, and the interior was one part of the yacht they were not prepared to leave as standard. Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture provided the interior design, with Leonardo Santi Design involved in the customisation and decoration, while Fraser managed the project with the owner.

Natural marble replaced the standard bathroom finishes, bronze detailing runs through the interior, and furniture was selected from Capital Collection, Minotti, Rugiano and SoftHouse. Bergomi Interiors also supplied bespoke pieces. A smaller detail gives a better idea of the level of custom work: the main-deck bar cabinet combines laminated glass with fabric set inside it, the sort of thing that would never appear on a basic specification sheet but changes how individual the finished yacht feels.

The underlying Oasis 40M architecture gives all that decoration a good starting point. On the sistership tested by YachtBuyer, the main saloon was wrapped in full-height glazing with a curved wall of glass aft, and the furniture was deliberately kept away from the windows instead of filling every available square metre. Lady Sarah uses the same basic architecture, but the marble, bronze and owner-selected furniture give it a more personal character.

There is also a useful distinction between the main and upper deck interiors. The main deck is closely connected to the Oasis Deck and the water beyond it, while the skylounge sits much higher with large panes of glass and its own aft terrace. That gives the yacht two genuinely different indoor living spaces instead of repeating the same saloon on successive decks.

Accommodation

Lady Sarah accommodates 10 guests in five suites, with up to nine crew.

The owner’s suite occupies the forward part of the main deck, following the Oasis 40M’s unusually generous split arrangement. On her sistership reviewed by us, the bedroom and lounge occupied the widest part of the hull, with a separate full-beam dressing area farther forward and the bathroom in the bow. An additional room off the entrance passage could serve as a gym or private office.

Four guest cabins sit on the lower deck, arranged around the central stairwell. The model allows some flexibility here, but the five-cabin format keeps the guest count at 10 and leaves the main deck owner’s suite with plenty of room to breathe.

One of the cleverer bits of the layout happens farther aft and is easy to miss from the accommodation plan. Pushing the tender garage forward of the engine room frees the stern for the Oasis Deck above, so the yacht gains that huge waterside area without sacrificing the conventional five-suite arrangement inside.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-1400) 12-cylinder 1,400hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Lady Sarah is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 45,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles.
