Essence measures 82m with a 12.8m beam and approximately 2,250 GT of volume. ISA Yachts developed the naval architecture in-house around a steel full-displacement hull and aluminum superstructure. The project follows the 82m Amarcord 82 and 86m Amarcord 86, revealed in July and August, respectively, as the third design in the yard's Large Yacht Collection.
Unlike a conventional model range, the Large Yacht Collection provides a technical foundation for individual design proposals rather than prescribing one exterior style or deck arrangement.
ISA Essence 82m Introduces Igor Lobanov Exterior and Interior Design
Essence marks a clear visual departure from the first two Large Yacht Collection projects, both designed by Nuvolari Lenard. Igor Lobanov Studio has worked around clean proportions and relatively restrained exterior lines, with more intricate surfaces becoming apparent at closer range. Curved sections, sculpted forms and three-dimensional detailing give the 82m yacht more visual depth without relying on a particularly aggressive or trend-led profile.
According to designer Igor Lobanov, the aim was to avoid styling that could quickly become associated with one period. Instead, the studio focused on proportions first, using the yacht's surfaces and smaller details to introduce more character.
That thinking also extends to the arrangement on board. ISA says Essence has been planned to provide several features more commonly associated with yachts approaching 90m or 100m, despite remaining within an 82m platform.

144sqm Beach Club Sits Beneath a Transparent-Bottom Pool
The stern is centered around a beach club measuring approximately 144sqm, with large fold-down terraces on both sides creating a much wider waterside area when the yacht is at anchor.
Directly above, a swimming pool occupies the aft end of the main deck. Its transparent bottom allows daylight through to the beach club below and creates a visual relationship between the two decks.
Tender and toy capacity has also received significant space. The garage has room for two tenders measuring up to 10m, while a third tender of around 7m can be carried for crew operations.
Elsewhere, Essence has a touch-and-go helipad intended for operational use rather than solely acting as an open deck space. A guest elevator serves the yacht's principal levels and continues as far as the sun deck.
ISA Essence 82m Uses a New Approach to Owner Privacy and Circulation
Seven cabins provide accommodation for 12 guests, supported by quarters for a crew of 21. The owner's suite occupies the forward section of the upper deck, giving the principal cabin privacy away from the main guest accommodation and open views ahead.
ISA and Lobanov have taken a less conventional approach to circulation on this level. Rather than using a central internal corridor to reach the other spaces, movement through the deck takes place along a side passage overlooking the exterior. The arrangement turns what would normally be a purely practical route into another place with views over the water.

The bridge deck aft has also been assigned a specific purpose rather than serving as another lounge. It is dedicated to wellness, with a gym, sauna, massage area, shower and pool. This approach gives individual decks clearer functions, with fewer repeated social spaces across the motor yacht.
Twin MTU Engines Give Essence a 6,200nm Range
Essence uses a full-displacement steel hull and twin MTU 16V4000M63L engines, each rated at 2,240kW. ISA quotes a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. At 12 knots, estimated range rises to approximately 6,200 nautical miles, giving the yacht the endurance required for extended cruising.
Two pairs of fixed stabilizer fins provide stabilization underway and at zero speed. At approximately 2,250 GT, Essence also sits close to ISA's newly launched 80m flagship Belita in terms of internal volume.
Essence Extends ISA Yachts' Push Into the 80m-Plus Market
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, the arrival of Essence comes during a busy period for ISA Yachts across very different parts of its portfolio.
The yard launched Belita only days before the Essence announcement. Designed by Espen Øino International with interiors by Peter Marino Architect, the 79.82m yacht represents a major increase in scale for the ISA fleet and is now the brand's flagship.
The Large Yacht Collection addresses the opposite end of that spectrum. When ISA introduced Amarcord 82 in July, it described the collection as a technical framework for fully custom yachts between 80m and 90m. Amarcord 86 followed one month later with its own deck arrangement, including two pools, a helipad terrace and a glazed passage through the engine room.
