Second 53m Admiral Panorama Superyacht Silvia Launched with Hybrid Propulsion

The second hull in The Italian Sea Group's Admiral Panorama line has entered the water, introducing hybrid propulsion technology to the 53m superyacht Silvia.

Exterior styling comes from Piredda & Partners in collaboration with Admiral Centro Stile, while the interiors were created by Ramón Alonso, President of RADYCA. Naval architecture was developed in-house by The Italian Sea Group.

Semi-custom platform gains momentum

The launch comes shortly after the delivery of the first yacht in the Admiral Panorama line, Spribe, underlining the continued progress of the semi-custom programme.

Designed around contemporary onboard living, the Panorama platform was developed to maximise gross tonnage while remaining below the important 500GT threshold. Large outdoor entertainment areas, expansive glazing and owner-focused accommodation form the core of the concept, with hybrid propulsion now further extending its appeal for owners seeking quieter and more efficient cruising.

The second hull also reflects Admiral's broader strategy of pairing semi-custom platforms with high levels of personalization, allowing owners to tailor layouts, interiors and onboard amenities while benefiting from an established engineering platform.

Four-deck layout designed around owner living

Spread across four decks, the superyacht accommodates up to 13 guests in six cabins. The owner's suite occupies the Main Deck and includes two dressing rooms, two en suite bathrooms and a private balcony overlooking the sea. Five additional guest cabins are positioned on the Lower Deck, while a lift links the accommodation levels directly to the Sun Deck.

Above, a dedicated staircase leads to the Observatory Deck, creating a private viewing area with elevated panoramic views. Outdoor spaces remain a defining feature of the design. At the stern, the beach club incorporates fold-down terraces, outdoor lounge areas and a sunken swimming pool positioned at water level, creating one of the yacht's primary social spaces.

Throughout the yacht, the design emphasizes uninterrupted sightlines and a close connection to the surrounding sea through expansive glazing and carefully planned exterior decks.

Hybrid propulsion brings greater operational flexibility

One of the most significant developments on the second Admiral Panorama is the integration of The Italian Sea Group's hybrid propulsion system. The arrangement pairs diesel and electric power to reduce fuel consumption, onboard noise and vibration while offering greater operational flexibility.

During normal cruising, the motor yacht's main diesel engines and electric alternators are capable of supplying hotel loads, allowing the generators to remain switched off. A lithium battery system can independently power onboard services and comfort systems for approximately eight hours with zero local emissions and virtually silent operation.

The hybrid installation also enables electric-only operation during harbour approaches and mooring manoeuvres, with both the main engines and generators switched off, while peak-shaving technology helps optimise energy management throughout the voyage.

Admiral advances projects across multiple yacht segments

The launch caps a busy period for Admiral and parent company The Italian Sea Group. In recent months, the 55m Navis (ex Silver Star I) changed hands, while RAJA² received the Motor Yacht Over 40 Metres Award at the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2026, highlighting continued interest in the builder's semi-custom range.

Elsewhere, work continues on the first Admiral A-40, which entered the outfitting phase as the shipyard expands its sub-500GT offering, alongside flagship custom projects including the 100m Project Titanium.
