35m Cantiere delle Marche Deep Blue 115 Explorer Yacht Octopus Delivered

Cantiere delle Marche has delivered superyacht Octopus, the first yacht in its series, following a highly customised build for experienced American owners.

The Cantiere delle Marche Deep Blue 115 measures 35 metres with an internal volume of 299GT; the Cantiere delle Marche-built yacht features exterior design by Horacio Bozzo Design, interiors by Giorgio M. Cassetta and naval architecture by Axis Group Yacht Design.

A new explorer platform shaped around owner experience

Built for experienced American owners, Octopus is the first yacht in the Deep Blue 115 series and represents a highly personalised interpretation of Cantiere delle Marche's explorer yacht philosophy. Developed in collaboration with Horacio Bozzo Design, Giorgio M. Cassetta and brokerage IYC, the project focused on creating a capable long-range cruising yacht while incorporating the owner's experience and vision throughout the build.

Explorer styling with practical cruising features

Horacio Bozzo Design gave Octopus a purposeful explorer profile inspired by the larger 43m Acala, while adapting the concept to a more compact platform. Deep bulwarks, expansive glazing and sheltered exterior decks reinforce the motor yacht's long-range credentials, while a side-opening hull garage provides internal storage for a 4.5-metre tender, a feature more commonly found aboard significantly larger explorer yachts. A deck Jacuzzi, generous outdoor entertaining spaces and a main-deck owner's suite balance expedition capability with onboard comfort.

Voyage-inspired interiors for extended time onboard

The superyacht's interior was conceived as an homage to exploration, using an eclectic mix of materials and furnishings to create a residential atmosphere. Accommodation is arranged for up to 10 guests across five suites, including a main-deck owner's cabin, while quarters for seven crew support extended cruising in remote destinations.

Built for long-range exploration

Constructed with a semi-displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Octopus has been engineered for efficient ocean passages. Twin Caterpillar C18 diesel engines deliver a top speed of 13.5 knots and an 11-knot cruising speed, while a 45,000-litre fuel capacity provides a transoceanic range of up to 5,500 nautical miles at an economical speed of nine knots. The combination of robust construction, long-range capability and generous internal volume reflects Cantiere delle Marche's focus on serious explorer yachts.
