Launched in March 2025 and now completing sea trials, Orpheus is the ninth hull in the Numarine 37XP series, designed by Can Yalman with naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini.
At 37 meters, the 37XP is Numarine’s largest explorer yacht currently afloat, with a new 40MXP set to launch in July. The profile of the yacht is defined by a strong, purposeful bow, crisp lines, and a white-painted steel hull paired with an aluminum superstructure. Teak decks add a classic finish underfoot, while the 8-meter beam provides generous space across all levels.

One of the standout features on Orpheus is the expansive flybridge, stretching nearly 10 meters and offering 83 square meters of open-air living space. This wide-body upper deck onboard the superyacht creates room for alfresco dining, lounging, and enjoying the views, while a forward sunpad area completes the setup for outdoor relaxation. The aft section of the upper deck is designed to serve as a tender garage, capable of accommodating a 9-meter tender, while also transforming into a terrace for sunbathing or entertaining once the tender is launched.

Designed in-house by Can Yalman, the interiors of Orpheus prioritize light, space, and comfort. Large windows line the main deck saloon and guest cabins, creating bright, airy spaces throughout. The main saloon onboard the motor yacht features a relaxed lounge arrangement and an open-plan dining area, finished in a contemporary style with a focus on clean lines and high-quality materials.

Orpheus offers accommodation for up to 12 guests across six cabins. The main deck houses the owner’s suite, providing direct views out to sea, while the lower deck features three VIP cabins and two twin cabins. The upper deck includes an additional large suite with an aft-facing bed, opening onto a private terrace at the stern. This flexible layout allows for a mix of configurations depending on the owner’s preferences.

Built for long-range cruising, Orpheus is powered by twin Caterpillar C18 engines, each delivering 2,100hp. This setup gives the yacht a top speed of 14.5 knots, with a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles at an economical 8 knots.
Numarine’s Explorer Lineup in Demand

The yacht offers a transatlantic range of 6,000 nautical miles and accommodates up to 13 guests in six cabins, making it a compelling option for long-distance cruising.
