This time-honored maritime ritual, which dates back to ancient Roman times, was attended by the yacht’s French owner, the shipyard’s management team, and the skilled craftsmen who will bring the project to life.
The yacht is a standout design from Cantieri di Pisa’s Custom Division, exhibiting a distinctive exterior style shaped by Antonio Luxardo. His design draws inspiration from the shipyard’s signature lines, including black and white air intake grilles, a sleek black band running the hull’s length, and handrails treated as integrated design elements. The result is a modern yet unmistakably Cantieri di Pisa profile that stays true to the brand’s DNA while accommodating the owner’s vision.
A Bold Layout for a 40-Metre Yacht
The layout is tailored for both private and charter use, featuring six guest cabins - a rare feature on a 40m yacht - including a forward owner’s suite with a private terrace on the Main Deck, four guest cabins, and a VIP cabin on the Lower Deck. The crew quarters are equally generous, with four cabins on the Lower Deck, a captain’s cabin adjacent to the wheelhouse, and a first officer’s cabin on the Bridge Deck.

The motor yacht spans four decks and offers a surprising level of accommodation for a vessel of this size. With a steel hull and a superstructure built from aluminium and advanced composites using vacuum technology, the yacht achieves a lighter weight and a lower center of gravity. This construction method, a hallmark of Cantieri di Pisa, supports improved fuel efficiency and performance.

Two large salons, one on the Main Deck and another on the Bridge Deck, create welcoming social hubs, while extensive relaxation areas are spread across all decks, offering loose furniture, sun loungers, sofas, and sunbeds. A Jacuzzi sits on the aft cockpit, and the midship garage features a lateral launch system for a 6.6-meter tender, jet ski, and other water toys.
Engineering and Performance
The yacht’s engineering has been developed by Studio Sa.Ma.Re Design, led by Francesco Samarelli, with support from Antonio Luxardo and Optima Design. Propulsion comes from twin 1,550 hp MAN V12 engines, with a planned top speed of 15 knots and a cruising range of 2,000 nautical miles.

Practicality is a key part of the yacht’s design, with a fully equipped galley, pantries on all decks, high-capacity laundry facilities, and ample refrigeration and storage throughout, making sure the yacht is ready for extended voyages in total comfort.

Delivery is set to introduce a yacht tailored for both private escapes and charter adventures, capable of cruising in style anywhere in the world.
