Delivered in 2024 and launched from the shipyard’s La Spezia facility, M is one of 7 units currently in the Sanlorenzo 500Exp series. Her naval architecture and exterior styling comes from Sanlorenzo, while her bespoke interior were penned by London-based Studio Indigo.
Studio Indigo’s interior for M was publicly unveiled at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show and received immediate recognition for its fresh approach to explorer yacht aesthetics. The brief was clear: create a calm, tactile environment that feels more like a floating home than a rugged explorer. This has been achieved through a soft pastel palette, high ceilings, and an art-led décor that includes headboard murals and curated wall pieces in the saloons.
The main saloon on board the superyacht for sale is flooded with natural light from the low-profile glazing and features subtle contrasts, such as turquoise accents in the dining chairs and cushions, as well as sculptural Litho armchairs by Guillaume Delvigne. Pastel artwork adds further visual texture, while the overall design prioritizes flow, openness, and relaxed sophistication.
On the sundeck, guests find a shaded observation lounge, Jacuzzi, and a sociable bar area with dining space to port and lounging to starboard. The expansive upper aft deck, finished in teak, doubles as a helipad and tender storage space. A 7-meter tender is housed in the indoor garage, with an additional rescue boat also carried aboard.
Practicality and aesthetics are both prioritised throughout the exterior layout of the yacht for sale. A recessed side deck amidships replaces traditional bulwarks with guardrails, improving sea views from the saloon and allowing easier transitions fore and aft. The large transom door folds down to extend the bathing platform, giving access to the beach club, with additional side shell doors increasing flexibility and access to the sea.
The expedition yacht for sale accommodates up to ten guests across five staterooms. The cabin arrangement includes a full-beam owner’s suite with private sea-view terraces that fold down on either side. Two VIP cabins and two twin cabins with Pullman berths complete the layout. Despite her luxury focus, M retains impressive expedition credentials. Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines, she delivers a top speed of 15 knots and cruises efficiently at 12-12.5 knots. At her most economical speed, she offers a transoceanic range of 4,300 nautical miles, backed by 74,000 liters of fuel capacity.
