First two hybrid Benetti B.Now 67M Oasis superyachts launched in Livorno

Two hybrid-powered Benetti B.Now 67M yachts have launched in less than a month, marking a rare back-to-back delivery milestone for the Livorno-based shipyard.

The hybrid-powered B.Now 67M yachts, Symmetry and Dagger, represent the first two units in this series and underline the yard’s continued focus on large custom steel construction with reduced environmental impact.

The second launch of Dagger took place just three weeks after Symmetry entered the water, bringing the combined output of the two projects to 134 meters of newly launched superyacht tonnage in early 2026.

Two launches, one platform

Both yachts are built on Benetti’s B.Now 67M platform, featuring steel hulls and aluminum superstructures. Exterior design for both projects comes from British studio RWD, whose work defines the shared architectural language across the series, including the Oasis Deck concept that has become closely associated with Benetti’s recent superyacht output.

While Symmetry and Dagger share their exterior framework and core engineering package, each Benetti yacht has been developed as a fully custom project, with interior design, layout, and onboard atmosphere shaped directly by individual owner briefs.

Benetti’s signature Oasis Deck

Both yachts are centered around Benetti’s Oasis Deck, a stern-focused outdoor area designed to create a closer relationship with the water. The space includes a full-width infinity pool and fold-out terraces on both sides, opening the aft deck to a 270-degree panoramic view.

Rather than functioning as a simple beach club, the Oasis Deck is conceived as a social platform that extends interior living spaces outward. On both yachts, this area acts as a focal point for guest activity at anchor, reinforcing Benetti’s emphasis on open, lifestyle-driven layouts in its large custom yachts.

Contrasting interior identities

Despite their shared platform, the interiors of Symmetry and Dagger diverge sharply in tone and execution. Symmetry’s interior design was developed by Reymond Langton Design, with an emphasis on softness, cohesion, and a light visual palette. Pale color tones are used throughout to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere, supported by an extensive level of customization. Ten bespoke decorative elements were developed specifically for the project, including custom fabrics, lacquered metal finishes, and textile artworks integrated into the interior architecture.

A central visual feature onboard Symmetry is a large custom chandelier formed from “ice-effect” crystal glass. Designed as a sculptural centerpiece, it plays with reflected light and acts as a defining element within the main guest spaces.

Dagger, by contrast, features interior design by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, whose approach emphasizes clean geometry and visual continuity between decks. Natural tones and carefully structured sightlines give the interior a more linear character, while material selection plays a key role in shaping the motor yacht’s identity.

"The firm’s signature style is expressed in a linear layout, where natural tones promote a fluid conversation between the various decks."

Nine different wood types are used throughout Dagger’s interior, arranged to create depth and contrast without visual overload. At the owner’s request, several onboard areas were designed as private art galleries. These include dedicated sculpture shelving and recessed wall niches fitted with targeted lighting to display a curated collection of paintings and artworks, turning circulation spaces into exhibition zones.

Hybrid propulsion tailored to real-world cruising

Both yachts are equipped with Benetti’s latest-generation hybrid propulsion system, developed to support quieter operation, flexible cruising profiles, and improved overall efficiency.

The system is built around three core elements - main engines, generators, and a battery pack - which can operate independently or together depending on operating conditions. This modular setup allows the yachts to adapt their energy use in real time. Engines can be used to generate electricity, generators can contribute to propulsion, and batteries can absorb peak loads or power the yacht silently at anchor.

This architecture is designed to reduce fuel consumption and onboard noise, while also improving acoustic comfort across guest areas. Benetti reports that vibration and noise levels are minimized both underway and when stationary, supporting extended stays at anchor without generator noise.

Further efficiency gains come from the installation of a variable pitch propeller system. Unlike fixed propellers optimized for a single speed range, variable pitch blades adjust their angle based on navigation conditions. This allows for better response across different speeds and load scenarios, improving efficiency throughout the operating envelope.

Benetti B.Now models in build and in demand

According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the world's largest yacht database, Benetti currently has 62 yachts either in build or on order. Alongside the newly launched 67-meter yachts, Benetti’s forward order book includes three further models from the Benetti B.Now series, spanning 50 to 72 meters and reinforcing the platform’s role within the yard’s steel superyacht strategy. At the top end sits the B.Now 72M Oasis, a steel displacement yacht capable of accommodating up to 16 guests across eight cabins, with a maximum speed of 16 knots and a reported range of 4,500 nautical miles.

Below this, the Benetti B.Now 60M Oasis presents a more compact long-range option, sleeping up to 12 guests while retaining steel construction and similar endurance figures. The Benetti B.Now 50M Oasis serves as the entry point to the range and has already gained significant traction, collecting multiple international design awards, including an International Yacht and Aviation Award and a World Yacht Trophy. The model has also been independently reviewed by YachtBuyer, where it received a YachtBuyer 4 out of 5 star score.

Together, the near-simultaneous launches of Symmetry and Dagger highlight the maturity of Benetti’s B.Now 67M platform, pairing custom interiors with hybrid propulsion at full steel scale. With further B.Now models already in build, the series continues to gain momentum as a cornerstone of the yard’s large-yacht portfolio.
