Asia Boating Awards 2019 Winners
The Asia Boating Awards 2019 took place on 10 April, with guests heading to the Capitol Kempinski Hotel in the heart of Marina Bay for a glittering evening.
Blending a mix of classical architecture with modern touches the Capitol Kempinski building was the perfect setting for the awards, with its rich history, occupying what was once the Capitol Building and Stamford House - two iconic Singapore landmarks.
The biggest players in the superyacht industry fought it out for a list of 25 different awards, with the Asian-based market competing for titles including Best Asian Yacht Builder and Best Asia-Based Yacht Brokerage.
International awards were also presented in numerous categories such as Best Sportscruiser, Best Flybridge Yacht and Best Multihull Motor Yacht.
Andrew Dembina, Editor-in-Chief of Asia-Pacific Boating magazine stated; “These are the current cream of the brands, builders, yacht clubs, marinas, and associated companies and people who directly affect the continued rapid growth in the popularity of boating across the region.”
Winners from the 2019 edition include Horizon Yachts for Best Asian Yacht Builder, Benetti SPECTRE as the Best Custom-Built Yacht and the Amels VOLPINI 2 for Best Semi-Custom-Built Yacht.
