Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.27m beam and a 1.99m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 220 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

FAO belongs to one of Riva's most important modern series. Introduced in 2018 as the new flagship of the builder's GRP fleet, the 110' Dolcevita proved that the style which made Riva famous could work just as well on a yacht over 33m (110ft). More than 30 hulls have since been built, making it one of the yard's most successful large models.

Penned by Officina Italiana Design, the yacht trades complexity for clean geometry. A long sweep of dark glazing, a low integrated flybridge and exposed carbon-fibre supports create a profile that looks fast even at rest. Traditional Riva details such as polished stainless steel, teak and carefully judged proportions remain, but they sit within a much more modern shape.

The model also introduced one of Riva's biggest engineering steps. Its Crystal Palace main saloon uses an external stainless-steel structural frame that removes the need for internal pillars, opening the living space to almost uninterrupted sea views. The same project also introduced the Infinity Deck concept, where the side decks rise naturally towards the bow to create one continuous outdoor living space instead of a series of separate deck levels. Both ideas went on to influence later Riva models, particularly the 102' Corsaro Super.

Finished in a dark metallic blue-grey, FAO gives the design a more restrained look than the silver hulls often seen on the series. The colour works well with the continuous glazing and polished metalwork, giving the yacht a crisp, understated finish.

Accommodation

FAO offers accommodation for up to 11 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin MTU (16V 2000M96L) 2,638hp engines, motor yacht FAO is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots. She has a maximum range of 430 nautical miles. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
