After departing the Netherlands in early May 2025, Faith is currently en route to Gibraltar on her maiden voyage, according to AIS data.
Faith was launched from Aalsmeer in February 2025 and made headlines across the Netherlands when she was seen departing the yard in March. Her build began in early 2021, and despite the project’s discreet profile, the yacht has remained under consistent observation by the industry.

Sleek, Streamlined, and Signature Feadship
Designed with a sleek, modern silhouette and a traditional blue hull, Faith displays the recognizable styling cues of the Dutch shipyard. British studio RWD handled the exterior design, giving the yacht a refined profile accented by expansive decks and an understated clipper bow. The streamlined lines of the motor yacht and substantial glazing reflect a focus on contemporary elegance while preserving a sense of timelessness.

Though details were scarce during the early stages of the project, images captured during transport and sea trials in March 2025 revealed a narrow beam tailored to navigate the Dutch canals, a detail that hints at her early construction considerations.
Calm and Cohesive Interiors by Chahan
Interior design was led by Chahan Interior Design. While much of the interior layout and styling remains private, the yacht's gross tonnage is approximately 2,500 GT, suggesting a generously appointed volume across her decks.

The layout likely builds on the legacy of her predecessor, the 97m Faith (now renamed Sophia), who was known for her creative interior features such as a snow room.
Next-Generation Propulsion System
Beneath the waterline, Faith is powered by a next-generation diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system developed under the Feadship Advanced Electrical Drive (FAED) program. The setup shares its architecture with the 84m Obsidian, delivering 4.5 times the battery storage capacity of Savannah, Feadship’s first hybrid yacht.

Propulsion and steering are handled by two contra-rotating thrusters, a solution that removes the need for traditional rudders and drive shafts. This configuration, fine-tuned using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), significantly reduces drag and vibration, improving overall efficiency and onboard comfort.
Feadship’s Order Book Keeps Growing
Faith is part of an active construction schedule at Feadship.
Among the most significant is the 119m Breakthrough, set for delivery later this year. Designed by RWD with naval architecture by De Voogt, Breakthrough is the world’s first hydrogen fuel cell superyacht. The 7,247 GT vessel also includes an 8.2-meter glass-floored infinity pool, a semi-submerged Nemo lounge, and a full owner's deck with twin bedrooms, two offices, and a private jacuzzi. Her structure features 14 balconies and seven unfolding platforms, while interiors balance natural materials, volume, and privacy across seven decks.

Also in build is the 101m Moonrise, launched in March 2025 with delivery expected later this year. She features exterior design by De Voogt and interiors by Rémi Tessier, with upgrades over her 2020 predecessor including Starlink integration, a dedicated owner's deck, and a pool aft. She reaches 22.5 knots and has a volume of 4,000 GT.

Looking ahead to 2026, the 101m Project 1014 is in outfitting at Feadship’s Makkum facility. With a gross tonnage of 3,840 GT, she will become one of the world's biggest yachts on completion, entering the YB100. First glimpsed in late 2024, she reflects the yard’s continued focus on large-scale, fully custom builds.

With Faith now delivered and a string of landmark builds in progress, Feadship continues to assert its position at the forefront of custom yacht construction. From hybrid propulsion to hydrogen power, the Dutch yard is shaping the future of large-yacht innovation.
