Sakura is a 82.15m motor yacht delivered by Dutch shipyard Feadship in 2024. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of De Voogt, while Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.3m beam and a 3.6m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 2,128 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2021. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in March 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2024.
Exterior Design
Exterior and interior design for Sakura came from Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, while De Voogt worked alongside Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture on the naval architecture. Rather than relying on dramatic styling, the brief centred on clean surfaces, balanced proportions and carefully planned outdoor spaces, producing an 82.9m (272ft) yacht whose presence comes from proportion.
The profile is crisp and disciplined. A sharp plumb bow leads into long horizontal deck lines and uninterrupted bands of dark glazing, giving the 2,128GT yacht a lower, longer appearance than her size might suggest. The superstructure rises in gentle layers beneath broad overhangs, while the glazing breaks up the white surfaces without dominating them. It is a very different interpretation from the softer bow and more traditional stance of 79.95m (262ft) Feadship yacht Faith, yet it avoids the more radical architectural treatment that Feadship would explored on the 84.2m (276ft) Obsidian.
The owner's brief placed equal importance on outdoor living. The flush foredeck is heli-capable yet remains remarkably uncluttered, while the stern centres on a striking glass-fronted swimming pool with Sakura's name built into the transparent aft panel. Below, fold-down terraces extend the beach club across the width of the yacht, creating a broad waterside retreat. That balance between generous deck space and restrained styling would continue into later Feadship projects, although the 80m (262ft) Thalassa in 2026 would push the beach club concept much further as the focal point of the entire design.
Sakura also represents an interesting point in Feadship's technical evolution. Beneath her modern exterior she retains a conventional twin Caterpillar diesel installation, unlike the FAED hybrid propulsion that would debut on Obsidian and later appear aboard Faith. In that sense, Sakura bridges two generations of Feadship thinking, pairing proven mechanical systems with the cleaner styling, expansive glazing and stronger connection to the sea that now define many of the yard's largest custom yachts.
Accommodation
Sakura offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in 7 suites comprising an owners cabin and 2 VIP cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 23 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32B) 1,971hp engines, motor yacht Sakura is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 130,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,450 nautical miles at 12 knots making her well capable of long range and transatlantic voyages.
