First Look: New Solaris Power 64 Grand Coupé Motor Yacht Revealed

The first official images and technical details of the new Solaris Power 64 Grand Coupé have officially been released, introducing an enclosed cruising yacht designed with a strong emphasis on safety, onboard volume, and offshore capability.

Designed by Dragoni Design Lab, 3 Studio, and the Solaris Power Design Team, the new Solaris Power model carries forward many of the principles that have defined the builder's powerboat lineup, while introducing a new enclosed profile intended for owners seeking greater protection from the elements without compromising outdoor living.

Designed Around Safe Movement at Sea

Rather than focusing on dramatic styling alone, the 64 Grand Coupé has been developed around practical use at sea. Solaris Power has placed particular emphasis on safe circulation throughout the yacht, incorporating continuous side decks that connect the bow and stern without interruption.

The walkaround decks measure an average of 75cm in width, allowing guests to move safely around the yacht while underway. High bulwarks provide additional security, particularly for families cruising with children or during more challenging sea conditions, with Solaris describing the arrangement as a defining feature of the new model.

Performance has also remained a central part of the design brief. The motor yacht's hull features a fine bow entry with pronounced flare intended to soften impacts in head seas while keeping spray away from the deck. According to Solaris, the hull has been engineered to remain stable both underway and at anchor without relying on stabilizers, while careful weight distribution and hydrodynamic development have also been used to improve fuel efficiency and extend cruising range.

Cockpit Space Leads the Layout

The exterior layout focuses on creating generous entertaining areas without compromising functionality. Solaris describes the cockpit as the largest in its class, offering enough space for multiple seating arrangements depending on owner preference.

Forward, the foredeck serves as a second social area with two opposing horseshoe-shaped sofas connected by twin tables, creating a versatile space for dining, relaxing, or enjoying views at anchor. Large glazed sections surrounding the main salon maintain uninterrupted sightlines to the water while allowing the interior and cockpit to feel closely connected.

At the stern, the tender garage has been integrated beneath the cockpit to preserve the full width of the beach area. Capable of accommodating a 3.45-meter water-jet tender alongside additional water toys, the arrangement keeps the swim platform clear for guests while improving access to the sea. The hydraulic platform can also be partially submerged, creating an easier transition into the water when swimming or launching toys.

Accommodation is arranged across three guest cabins as standard, with optional layouts allowing an additional guest cabin alongside separate crew accommodation.

Engineered for Longer Passages

Power comes from twin Volvo Penta D13 engines paired with IPS1200 or IPS1350 propulsion packages, producing either 900hp or 1,000hp per engine. Depending on specification, Solaris expects the yacht to reach top speeds between 27 and 29 knots while maintaining an 18-knot cruising speed.

Unlike many planing yachts of this size, Solaris says the hull has also been optimized for comfortable cruising at displacement speeds, allowing owners to travel efficiently over longer distances while minimizing fuel consumption and reducing CO₂ emissions. That philosophy has become a recurring theme throughout the Solaris Power range, where offshore capability and predictable handling are often prioritized over outright speed.

How the 64 Grand Coupé Differs From the 64 Long Range

Although both models share a 19.7m platform, the new 64 Grand Coupé has been developed alongside rather than in place of the previously announced 64 Long Range.

The 64 Long Range is designed around extended-distance cruising, featuring a raised flybridge, multiple outdoor entertaining areas, and a layout intended for owners spending prolonged periods onboard. It places particular emphasis on range, offshore capability, and flexibility for longer passages.

The 64 Grand Coupé takes a different approach. Its lower, fully enclosed superstructure creates a more sheltered environment while maintaining Solaris Power's signature walkaround concept and generous outdoor spaces.

Rather than offering an alternative version of the Long Range model, the 64 Grand Coupé introduces a new enclosed cruising concept that will also underpin the forthcoming 70 Grand Coupé, expanding Solaris Power's lineup with a distinct style of cruising aimed at owners who prefer the comfort of an enclosed pilothouse combined with extensive single-level living areas.

A Larger Alternative in the Solaris Range

While details of the 70 Grand Coupé have yet to be released, owners looking for a larger cruising platform can already explore the closely related 70 Long Range, which debuted earlier this year.

Reviewed by YachtBuyer at boot Düsseldorf 2026, the 21.3-meter model introduced Solaris Power's largest production yacht to date, pairing a spacious flybridge with a range of up to 900 nautical miles, a 4-meter tender garage, and a layout designed around extended cruising. The review praised its generous outdoor spaces, customization opportunities, and practical approach to onboard living, highlighting Solaris Power's continued focus on seaworthiness and owner usability. With the first official images now released, the 64 Grand Coupé gives a clear indication of how Solaris Power intends to expand its enclosed cruising lineup, adding another distinct model family while remaining true to the practical design principles that have shaped the brand's recent development.
