24m Picchiotti Motor Yacht Gentleman Delivered as Historic Italian Brand Returns to the Water

The Italian Sea Group has delivered the first Picchiotti Gentleman 24M, marking a major milestone in the revival of one of Italy's oldest yacht-building names and the debut of a new model designed for Mediterranean cruising and charter operations.

The 24m Picchiotti Gentleman 24 has been delivered following a christening ceremony. Designed by Luca Dini Design & Architecture in collaboration with Picchiotti, the all-aluminium motor yacht represents the latest chapter of the historic Picchiotti brand. Following delivery, the yacht will join the Royal Yacht International charter fleet for her Mediterranean season.

A historic shipyard name returns through a new generation of yachts

The delivery of the motor yacht marks one of the most significant milestones since The Italian Sea Group relaunched Picchiotti in 2022. With origins dating back centuries, the Italian brand has played a notable role in the country's maritime history, building everything from commercial vessels to military craft and luxury yachts. The Gentleman range has been developed to reconnect the shipyard with its heritage while introducing a contemporary product line aimed at today's owners and charter clients. As the first hull in the series, the vessel establishes the design direction for the future of the revitalised brand.

Retro-inspired styling shaped for modern Mediterranean cruising

Designed to evoke the elegance of classic yachts without sacrificing contemporary functionality, the yacht showcases a low-profile silhouette with extensive use of polished mahogany detailing and carefully balanced proportions. The yacht's semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure provide a modern technical foundation, while traditional design cues create a timeless appearance. An open aft deck arrangement allows the yacht's custom 3.5m tender to remain on display, while wide side decks, a raised foredeck sunpad and a teak-lined beach club strengthen the connection between guests and the surrounding environment.

Residential interiors create an intimate onboard experience

The interior design continues the boat's blend of classic craftsmanship and contemporary comfort. Rich timber finishes are balanced by bright panelling and large windows that introduce natural light throughout the accommodation spaces. Guest accommodation is arranged across four cabins for up to eight guests, including a spacious owner's suite. Social areas have been designed to feel more like a private waterfront residence than a traditional charter yacht, creating a relaxed atmosphere well suited to extended Mediterranean cruising.

Aluminium construction and MAN power deliver efficient performance

The 160GT yacht features a 6.5-metre beam and 1.5-metre draft. Power comes from twin 1,300hp MAN diesel engines, enabling a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. The yachts' practical systems were designed around simplicity and reliability to support both private ownership and intensive charter use.
