WATCH: ADA Yacht Works Celebrates Launch of First Ada 50 Z Motor Yacht Legasea

The 50m motor yacht Legasea was successfully launched at the builder’s facility in Bodrum, Turkey.

As the first hull in ADA Yacht Works’ new ADA 50 Z series, this project also marks a significant collaboration with Luca Dini Design & Architecture, who were brought in to shape the yacht’s interiors.

ADA Yacht Works Enters the 50-Meter Market

Launched in May 2025, Legasea is the product of a carefully orchestrated design partnership that brought together several notable names in the industry. Exterior lines were developed by Uldas Yacht Design, while naval architecture was handled by Ginton Naval Architects. Norse Design oversaw the engineering, and Homeport Yacht Management managed the project. The yacht, sold in 2023, represents ADA Yacht Works’ ambition to step up in size and capability, introducing their 50-meter platform to the market.

For Legasea’s interiors, Luca Dini Design & Architecture delivered a warm, tactile atmosphere, balancing modern Italian design with timeless maritime sensibilities. The studio’s vision centered on the contrast between Alpi smoked oak wall panels and white polished finishes, creating a sense of understated sophistication that runs throughout the yacht’s living spaces.

Details such as braided beige leather accents by Foglizzo add a handcrafted dimension, while the choice of furnishing - featuring pieces from Poltrona Frau and Minotti -  reinforces the connection to Italian craftsmanship and comfort. As Luca Dini, Founder and CEO of Luca Dini Design & Architecture, explains, the goal was to create a yacht that feels both welcoming and enduring: “This is a space meant to be lived in, where materials not only express beauty but endure with grace.”

Legasea Layout Highlights

At just under 500 GT, Legasea offers a six-stateroom layout accommodating up to 12 guests. The owner’s suite stands out for its private balcony, large windows, and en suite Jacuzzi. Five additional cabins house up to 10 crew, supporting smooth operations for extended cruising.

A standout feature of the motor yacht is her beach club, which includes a plunge pool flanked by loungers. Hydraulic wings extend the beach club area, creating a more expansive waterside space. A second pool, paired with fixed sunpads, is located on the foredeck, offering additional outdoor relaxation options.

Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, Legasea is designed for stability and range, powered to reach a top speed of 15 knots. Her two sisterships are already in build, with delivery planned for late 2025 and early 2026.
