Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8m beam and a 2.25m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 394 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2007. She was delivered to her owners in August 2010.
Exterior Design
Serenity II has the long, balanced profile typical of a steel displacement yacht built for extended cruising. Her dark blue hull contrasts strongly against the white superstructure, while the sweeping deck lines soften the yacht’s substantial 40.5m (132.9ft) length and 8m (26.2ft) beam. The bow carries a fine entry with high bulwarks and wide walkaround side decks, giving the yacht a secure and purposeful stance underway.
The exterior arrangement spreads guest spaces across three decks. The main aft deck is configured around a shaded dining area with banquet seating and direct connection into the main saloon through full-height glass doors. Above, the upper deck continues the outdoor living focus with additional lounge seating and open terrace areas overlooking the stern.
One of the defining exterior spaces sits on the sundeck, where a hardtop shelters an alfresco dining area and sit-up bar. Large sunpads wrap around the deck Jacuzzi, creating a relaxed upper deck lounge with uninterrupted views across the water. The foredeck is also fully usable guest space, particularly for the forward VIP suite on the main deck, which benefits from direct access and open views ahead.
The aft section incorporates an opening transom arrangement for water access and toy deployment, while the main Novurania tender is stored on the upper deck and launched via crane. Underway and at anchor stabilisers support comfort during long passages, complementing the yacht’s steel displacement platform and 14-knot cruising speed.
Interior Design
The interior by H2 Yacht Design leans into warmth and scale rather than formality. Large windows bring in substantial natural light, while pale carpeting, cream wall finishes and soft silver-grey tones keep the atmosphere calm throughout the guest spaces. Dark Macassar cabinetry and curved timber detailing add contrast without making the rooms feel heavy.
The main saloon is arranged as one long open-plan entertaining space, beginning with lounge seating aft before transitioning naturally into the formal dining area forward. Instead of rigid separation between zones, the room flows from one area to the next, which suits the yacht’s broad 8m (26.2ft) beam particularly well. Large side windows keep constant sightlines to the water while also helping the interior avoid the enclosed feel that some displacement yachts can develop.
There’s a quiet confidence to the detailing. Upholstered wall panels soften the architecture, concealed lighting avoids harsh contrasts and the cabinetry curves gently into corners rather than ending abruptly. The result feels residential and comfortable without losing the scale expected from a 394GT yacht.
Elsewhere onboard, Serenity II includes a gym along with multiple interior lounge spaces spread across the upper decks. Guest and crew circulation are also carefully separated, so the yacht maintains a quieter atmosphere during longer stays onboard.
Accommodation
Serenity II accommodates up to 10 guests across six suites, with the arrangement built around privacy and unusually generous guest space for a yacht of this size. She also carries up to seven crew members in dedicated quarters separate from the guest areas.
The owner’s suite sits aft on the upper deck and becomes one of the yacht’s defining features. Full-height glass doors open directly onto a private terrace overlooking the stern, creating a far stronger connection to the sea than a typical enclosed master suite. The cabin also includes a private sauna, while the elevated deck position separates it naturally from the main guest circulation areas below.
Moving the owner’s suite upward frees the main deck forward for a VIP suite with open views ahead and direct access onto the foredeck lounge area. A second full-beam VIP suite occupies part of the lower deck, joined by the remaining guest cabins, which allow flexible arrangements for family groups or charter guests.

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 1,099hp engines, motor yacht Serenity II is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots.
