Built by Mengi Yay Yachts as the first hull in the Atlante Classic 35 series, Cabana features exterior and interior design by VYD Studio and naval architecture by Arrabito Naval Architects.
An award-winning explorer designed around volume and balance
Recognised by judges at The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2026, Cabana was conceived with the ambition of delivering the spatial qualities typically associated with much larger yachts while retaining the efficiency and practicality of a 35-metre platform. Built with a full-displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the yacht balances guest accommodation, outdoor living areas and technical spaces without allowing any single function to dominate the overall design. VYD Studio's clean lines and contemporary styling create a purposeful explorer profile while maintaining a sense of elegance that helped distinguish the project from competitors in the award category.
Three decks of outdoor living create a close connection to the sea
A defining feature of Cabana is its focus on outdoor enjoyment. The superyacht's beach club incorporates a fold-down transom that transforms the stern into an inviting waterside retreat, while expansive exterior areas are spread across three decks. The hardtop sundeck serves as the social centre of the yacht, featuring fixed sunpads, a dry bar and a U-shaped dining area designed for informal entertaining. Throughout the exterior spaces, sightlines have been carefully considered to maintain a constant visual connection with the surrounding seascape, reinforcing the yacht's explorer ethos while creating a relaxed onboard atmosphere.
Mediterranean-inspired interiors prioritise light and comfort
Inside, the motor yacht features a calm and contemporary interior inspired by Mediterranean living. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the accommodation with natural light, while pale woods, soft blue accents and light-toned finishes contribute to a relaxed and welcoming environment. The yacht accommodates up to 10 guests across five ensuite staterooms, with the layout designed to promote both privacy and social interaction. Clear circulation routes and seamless transitions between interior and exterior spaces further enhance the sense of openness throughout the boat.
Long-range cruising capability supports the explorer lifestyle
Beyond its lifestyle-focused features, Cabana has been engineered for extended cruising. Powered by twin Volvo Penta D16 MH diesel engines producing 850hp each, the yacht cruises comfortably at 11 knots and reaches a top speed of 14.5 knots. With a fuel capacity of 40,000 litres, the yacht delivers a range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles, allowing owners to undertake lengthy passages with confidence. The steel hull construction and full-displacement design further reinforce the vessel's capability as a genuine long-range explorer yacht.
Mengi Yay Yachts continues to strengthen its custom yacht portfolio
