The new model in the Extra Global range is designed for long-range cruising of up to 4,000 nautical miles. Alongside the launch, the shipyard released a new video tour, offering the first detailed look at its exterior design, interior arrangement, and key lifestyle spaces.
Extra's Largest Explorer to Date
The exterior of the yacht has been developed by Agon Studio, whose work privileges strong vertical architecture. A high bow and raised bulwarks give the yacht presence, balanced by the lighter impression of the aluminum superstructure. With a beam of 9.1m spread across five decks, the layout offers substantial interior and exterior volume within its class.

The interiors are the work of Hot Lab, who have introduced soft geometries and contemporary finishes, with subtle oriental detailing. Large windows and an open-plan approach allow natural light to complement guest and social areas.

A Look Inside The Guest and Owner Areas
The superyacht departs from conventional layouts by placing all five guest cabins on the main deck, using the yacht’s maximum beam to full effect. The owner’s suite sits on the bridge deck with access to a private terrace, a peaceful retreat from guest accommodation.

Communal living is arranged on the upper deck, where a panoramic lounge and dining area are separated by a central staircase.

At the stern, the beach club extends over 80 square meters with fold-down platforms and direct water access, supported by a day head with shower and dressing area.

The aft garage also accommodates an 8.5-meter tender, a rescue boat, two jet skis, and additional toys.
Technical Advances
The motor yacht is underpinned by a dual-mode hull that supports both efficiency and comfort. With a 4,000-nautical-mile range, the X145 Global has been engineered for transoceanic and innovate cruising.

A new philosophy of "going out to sea"... [which] ensures intense connections with the natural world, allowing owners to fully immerse themselves in their environment.
EXTRA Yachts
Placing the X145 Global in the Extra Line

The model expands Extra Yachts’ Global line, which sits alongside the Extra Fast and Extra Triplex, and the new Extra X30 Villa catamaran series, which is currently in production with expected delivery in 2026. As a flagship of the Global range, it is an explorer yacht set apart from the yard's other families. As part of Palumbo Superyachts, Extra benefits from the shared technical resources of ISA, Columbus, and Mondomarine. Across the group, the focus remains on fuel efficiency, maximising interior volumes and creating a closer connection between the owner and the sea.

The X145 Global launch confirms Extra Yachts’ intent to expand and improve the explorer market. Accompanied with the release of its first video tour, the yacht extends the shipyard’s reach into the sub-500 GT explorer category, positioning it as a long-range addition to Palumbo Superyachts’ wider portfolio.
