The World’s First Private Foiling Yacht: Foiler Presents the 28m Ghost

Foiler has pulled the curtain back on Ghost, a 28 meter project developed with ENATA and Bozca Design and unveiled at the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2025.

Positioned as the first private foiling yacht of this scale, the model introduces a technical and aesthetic direction that reaches far beyond the original 10 meter Foiler Spirit.

Foiling Architecture and High Speed Capability

Ghost is engineered around ENATA’s proprietary foiling system, an evolution of the technology behind Spirit. With its carbon fiber and titanium construction, the yacht is designed to rise roughly two meters above the water and travel at a cruising speed of 30 to 35 knots, with a projected top speed above 40 knots. Foils extend the beam from eight meters to around 20 meters when deployed, providing stability at lift and contributing to the boat’s low noise and reduced vibration.

The aim is a different type of ride, one centered on silence and balance even at pace. “Foiling transforms the experience of yachting,” said Alois Vieujot, CEO of ENATA Group. “At 40 knots, passengers can move freely, speak in hushed tones, and enjoy a completely smooth, stable ride. Ghost takes this comfort and serenity to a whole new scale.”

Bozca Design’s Exterior Vision

Bozca Design shaped the fluid yet assertive profile of the motor yacht. Long, continuous lines stretch from bow to stern, softening the technical nature of the foiling platform and giving the yacht a sculpted presence. The superstructure carries full beam, creating a broad main deck footprint. Large glass panels wrap the sides to give nearly transparent views from the interior and to heighten the sense of openness throughout the main living areas.

Timur Bozca describes the design as rooted in function. “Every structural and aesthetic decision is made with intention,” he said. “There are no decorative elements, only forms that serve performance, reliability, and clarity. Ghost is not just a foiling yacht but a high performance platform shaped by architecture, precision engineering, and a philosophy of purposeful design.”

Inside the 185 Square Meter Footprint

Across its 185 square meters of living space, Ghost delivers proportions rarely seen on a 28 meter boat that remains within pleasure craft limits. The interior spans 133 square meters, arranged around an open layout that emphasizes light and uninterrupted views. Floor to ceiling glazing shapes a bright, contemporary environment, while soft, curved forms counter the angular look of the exterior.

The standard configuration of the superyacht supports three to five cabins, including a private beach club aft that sits close to the water. The atmosphere leans toward calm, paired back detailing, modern materials, and integrated systems that streamline daily use. Foiler’s front seat arrangement and joystick controls remain a hallmark of the brand, giving owner operators direct control with a simplified interface.

A hidden crane built into the structure enables quick launch and recovery of a jetski or tender without interrupting the yacht’s lines. The focus across the layout is clean, usable space with minimal visual noise, aligning with the wider design intent.

Ghost is not just a foiling yacht but a high-performance platform shaped by architecture, precision engineering, and a philosophy of purposeful design."

Ghost is the next step in Foiler’s progression from a single model to a broader foiling yacht platform. ENATA will handle construction in the UAE, with the first hull scheduled to start build within 12 to 18 months. Delivery of the inaugural unit is slated for 2029.

The project is intended as a semi customizable, serial production platform, opening the door for future variants and configurations while keeping the core foiling architecture consistent.
