Approximately 1.2m longer than its predecessor, the Mulder 122 retains the recognizable proportions of the Mulder ThirtySix while introducing several design changes intended to improve onboard living and provide additional space.
Mulder 122 Exterior Design: New Foredeck and Extended Swim Platform
The most noticeable changes to the Mulder 122 concern its exterior styling and outdoor guest areas, with particular attention given to the foredeck and stern.
A redesigned mast and revised forward glazing give the superyacht an updated appearance while retaining the long horizontal lines and distinctive bow of the ThirtySix series.
At the stern of the yacht, the additional hull length has allowed Mulder to extend the swim platform, creating more space beside the water. The twin staircases connecting the platform to the aft deck have also been redesigned with a gentler incline, improving access between the two levels.
Beyond these changes, the Mulder 122 retains several practical features developed for the ThirtySix. A transverse tender garage provides storage for a tender measuring approximately 6.25m, alongside two full-size Jet Skis and additional watersports equipment. Depending on the selected configuration, the garage can accommodate a tender measuring up to 6.5m.
Wide side decks, high stainless steel railings with teak caprails and lowered bulwarks complete the exterior arrangement, providing secure access around the yacht while preserving views from the main deck.
Inside the New Mulder 122 Superyacht
The new Mulder 122 offers accommodation for up to 12 guests across five cabins, including a main-deck owner's suite and four additional guest cabins. Separate quarters accommodate six crew members, supporting longer cruising itineraries and potential commercial operations.
As with the ThirtySix series, Mulder offers considerable flexibility in the interior design, allowing owners to select their preferred designers and develop personalized layouts, materials and finishes. Interior construction is undertaken by the shipyard's in-house craftsmen.

Full-height glazing in the main salon on board the motor yacht is intended to maximize natural light and provide uninterrupted views of the surrounding water, while a spacious bridge arrangement offers an additional area for owners and crew during longer passages.
How Fast Is the New 37m Mulder 122 Superyacht?
The Mulder 122 retains the Van Oossanen-patented Fast Displacement Hull Form already established across the ThirtySix series, designed to deliver efficient cruising without compromising speed. Built with an aluminum hull and superstructure, the new superyacht has an 8m beam, an approximate draft of 2.05m and a published displacement of 207 tonnes at half load.
Power comes from twin Caterpillar C18 diesel engines, each rated at 1,150hp in the specified configuration. Mulder quotes a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 17 knots at half load.
Additional specifications include a fuel capacity of 28,600 liters, freshwater storage of 5,700 liters and electric fin stabilizers. Designed for unrestricted navigation, the Mulder 122 is specified with ABS commercial yachting classification, while IMO Tier IV compliance is available upon request.
New Mulder 122 Superyacht Follows Successful Mulder ThirtySix Series
The introduction of the Mulder 122 follows an active year for the Dutch shipyard, which, according to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, delivered its ninth ThirtySix superyacht, My Lady, in July 2026.
Sold in 2025 through Alex Lees-Buckley of Camper & Nicholsons, the 36m motor yacht was launched in March before being delivered from Mulder's Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk facility. My Lady features a bespoke interior by Vickers Studio, including an unusual second full-beam owner's suite on the lower deck. Following delivery, she departed the Netherlands for her maiden cruising itinerary, visiting the United Kingdom and Scandinavia.
The shipyard has also been active in the refit sector. Earlier this year, the original Mulder ThirtySix, Delta One, returned to the yard for an extensive refit undertaken by its 360° Service team. Originally delivered in 2017, Delta One subsequently returned to the Mediterranean, completing her first charter following the refit around the Balearic Islands.
With nine ThirtySix superyachts delivered, the newly announced Mulder 122 marks the next development in the Dutch builder's superyacht portfolio. Further details concerning the first hull and its construction schedule are expected to follow.
