The 45 VTR: Open-Air Layout With Folding Terrace and Flexible Aft Deck
The 45 VTR follows the format established by the smaller 38 VTR, with a single-level main deck and open layout making full use of its 4.2m beam. A substantial hardtop covers the central seating and helm area, with space for up to eight adults, removable dining tables and reversible helm seats.
Aft, U-shaped seating for six converts into a sunpad, while the outdoor galley includes a fiberglass sink and storage, with an electric Kenyon grill available as an option. A folding section of the port hull opens to create a platform measuring 14ft 10in across, extending the space available beside the water.
Several aft configurations are available on the yacht, ranging from an open arrangement with transom storage to U-shaped seating or an aft-facing sunlounge. The sunlounge can be specified with storage underneath, an additional berth, or an aft berth with a second electric head.
Below deck, the standard forward cabin features a convertible dinette that forms a berth, alongside a private head with a separate shower, sink, toilet and storage.
The 45 VTR EC: Enclosed Main Deck With Galley and Flexible Accommodation
The 45 VTR EC uses the same 13.8m platform but introduces an enclosed main-deck cabin, creating a more protected setup for longer periods aboard. Dual three-panel sliding doors open forward or aft, while air conditioning and a skylight provide climate control and natural light.
Inside the motor yacht, the main deck includes a galley, refrigerator, integrated storage and dining space. Opening the sliding doors connects the cabin with the exterior areas forward and aft when conditions allow.
Several aft configurations are available on the boat, including an aft-facing sunlounge with storage or an additional berth beneath. Another arrangement adds both the berth and a second wet head, increasing the accommodation available for overnight stays.

How Fast Are the Cruisers Yachts 45 VTR and 45 VTR EC?
Both the 45 VTR and 45 VTR EC are offered with triple Mercury Verado outboards, with a choice of 300hp or 400hp engines for a maximum output of 1,200hp. Cruisers Yachts states that the 45 VTR EC can exceed 50mph, while joystick piloting is available for low-speed maneuvering and docking.
The two models measure 45ft 4in (13.8m) with the outboards down and 47ft 3in (14.4m) with them raised, with a beam of 13ft 10in (4.2m). Fuel capacity is 362 US gallons (1,370 liters), while fresh water capacity stands at 50 US gallons (189 liters).
The open 45 VTR has a listed dry weight of 21,760lb (9,868kg), while the 45 VTR EC has a pre-production estimated dry weight of 22,960lb (10,414kg). A Seakeeper 5 stabilizer is available as an option.
VTR Range Grows One Year After Launch
The two 45ft models mark the first major expansion of the Cruisers Yachts VTR range since Cruisers Yachts introduced the range in September 2025.
The new 45 VTR and 45 VTR EC move the concept into a larger size category, adding triple-outboard propulsion, more deck space and broader accommodation choices.
Both models are scheduled to make their world debuts at FLIBS 2026, where they will join the 38 VTR and 38 VTR EC at the Cruisers Yachts display at Bahia Mar.
