According to show organizers, the revised timing aligns the event with the beginning of the Middle East’s main boating season, when cruising conditions across the Gulf are at their most favorable.
The change also comes during a period of heightened geopolitical tension in the region, although officials emphasized that the primary goal is to position the show within a more suitable seasonal window for exhibitors, buyers, and visiting motor yachts.
The 2026 edition will mark the beginning of a new long-term schedule for the Dubai International Boat Show. From this year onward, the event will take place annually in November rather than spring.
Held at Dubai Harbour since 2022, the show has developed into one of the Middle East’s leading marine events, drawing major international shipyards, brokerage houses, and regional builders. Its late-season timing is expected to place it closer to the winter cruising calendar, when many yachts operate across the Gulf and wider Middle East.

A Key Premiere for the 2026 Show
A highlight of the show is expected to be Gulf Craft’s presentation of the new 45m Gulf Craft Majesty 145. Built in GRP, the six-cabin superyacht can accommodate up to 12 guests and features extensive glazing, glass balustrades, and generous outdoor terraces designed to maximise natural light and panoramic views.
At the stern, a beach club with fold-out terraces and a hydraulic Transformer platform expands the space by more than 40 percent while creating direct access to the water. The Majesty 145 has already received recognition at The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2025, winning in the Interior Design - Concept Yacht category.
