As the third and final unit in the Bilgin 263 series, Al Reem follows in the wake of her sister ships Tatiana and Leona but introduces key refinements in both layout and engineering.
A Major Milestone for Bilgin’s Largest Series
Sold in 2022 through Bluewater Yachting, Al Reem builds on the platform of Tatiana, which debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2021 as the largest yacht ever built in Turkey. The second hull, Leona, was delivered in 2023 and gained international recognition for her striking exterior, winning a number of awards, including the 'Motor Yacht over 60m' at the 2024 International Yacht and Aviation Awards.

Compared to her predecessors, Al Reem introduces a number of updates across the board. With nearly 100 gross tons more volume and approximately 20 percent more exterior deck space, she brings a stronger focus on outdoor living and guest circulation. A revised superstructure, longer upper deck, and expanded aft areas further distinguish her profile.

On deck, the yacht features a full-teak foredeck and a superstructure painted in a bold metallic gray, white, and black combination. Her mast design is also more prominent than earlier models, reinforcing her role as the final and most developed expression of the series.
Interior Details: Modern, Textured, Tailored
All three Bilgin 263 hulls share an exterior design by Unique Yacht Design and interiors by British studio H2 Yacht Design. For Al Reem, H2 has introduced a fresh interior approach based on the owner’s preferences, which were influenced by Tatiana but tailored specifically for this build.

The interior follows a modern and textured scheme with a soft, neutral palette. Materials include matte-finished timber, silk carpets, marble feature walls with unique veining, and cream leather wall panels. According to H2 founder Jonny Horsfield, the result is a light and contemporary aesthetic that feels distinct from her sisterships.

The general arrangement has also been reworked. The owner's suite is positioned on the main deck and configured with 300-degree views, a private terrace, and an outdoor Jacuzzi. Two VIP cabins are also located on the main deck, while three additional guest cabins are set on the lower deck. Vertical access is provided by a central elevator connecting all levels.
Sea Trials Spotlight: Al Reem and Camila Together
Her sea trials took place alongside 50m superyacht Camila, the recently delivered vessel from the Bilgin 163 II series. Although Camila has already been handed over to her owner, the two yachts met on the water during trials in a rare and symbolic moment for the Turkish yard.

Having both our 50-meter Camila and 80-meter Al Reem at sea together is not just a proud moment for us; it’s a clear reflection of how Bilgin is confidently leading across different segments of the superyacht market."

Beyond layout changes, Al Reem benefits from technical enhancements, including a new ventilation system and greater generator capacity. Power comes from a pair of 2,560 kW engines delivering a top speed of 19 knots and a transoceanic range of 6,000 nautical miles at cruising speed. She is also set to debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.
What Comes After Al Reem
With Al Reem completing the Bilgin 263 trilogy, the Turkish yard continues to build momentum across its wider portfolio. According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, Bilgin Yachts currently has 13 yachts under construction or on order, spanning several key series.
Among the most active is the Bilgin 170 series, a new 52m platform designed in partnership with Unique Yacht Design and Hot Lab. The first unit completed its technical launch in early 2024, and up to eight hulls are reportedly in build. Featuring a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the Bilgin 170 is engineered for long-range cruising with a range of 5,000 nautical miles and accommodation for up to 12 guests across six cabins. The layout includes an expansive sundeck with a Jacuzzi and dining area, marking it out as a strong contender in the mid-size custom market.

Also in progress is the slightly larger 53m Bilgin 173, which follows a similar configuration but with a slightly reduced range of 4,500 nautical miles. Like the 170, it accommodates 12 guests and is designed for extended cruising with a full-displacement steel hull and aluminum superstructure.

At the larger end of the spectrum, the Bilgin 243 series introduces a new 74m platform. These yachts are being built with a steel hull and steel-aluminum superstructure, offering nine cabins for up to 12 guests and a crew capacity of 16. With a reported range of 5,000 nautical miles, the Bilgin 243 reflects the shipyard’s push into the upper tier of large-volume custom yachts.

As Al Reem begins sea trials, she closes the chapter on one of Bilgin’s most ambitious series to date with a larger footprint and refined execution. With multiple new lines underway across the 50- to 70-meter range, Bilgin Yachts is signaling a clear intent to expand its reach in the global custom superyacht market.
