Conceived for long-range adventure cruising, the project pairs an aluminum hull with hybrid propulsion and flexible interior layouts developed with designer Marco Casali.
The GX38 Voyager extends GX Superyachts’ portfolio beyond its GX42, now under construction, and its GX34 hybrid yacht. Developed at the request of a dedicated client, the model emphasizes expedition capability, efficiency, and comfort in challenging environments. Founder Vladimir Zinchenko described the explorer yacht as “equally capable of heading to high latitudes or remote areas – all in exceptional comfort.”
Hybrid Efficiency and Global Range
In keeping with GX’s commitment to responsible yachting, the GX38 Voyager integrates the brand’s proprietary hybrid powertrain. A combination of solar panels, diesel generators, and electric motors is expected to reduce emissions by up to 30 percent compared to conventional diesel propulsion.
Starting from the assumption that guests would want to spend extended periods on board to reach remote cruising grounds, the GX38 Voyager includes generous tankage, food storage and lots of space for belongings from clothing to water toys.

Optional Azimuth pod drives and a class-approved ice-strengthened hull further highlight the yacht's explorer credentials. At 6 knots in hybrid mode, the range reaches an impressive 10,000 nautical miles, with a top speed of 16 knots available when required.
Outdoor Living From Firepit to Eagle’s Nest
The motor yacht's exterior lines reflect her expedition purpose, with a beam of 8.2 meters and the possibility of an ultra-wide 9-meter version under development. The layout balances a long, open aft deck with additional volume forward.
Features include a foredeck lounge with a central firepit, expansive storage for tenders and toys, a Jacuzzi, and options for carrying specialist equipment such as submersibles or land vehicles.
An eagle’s nest observation post beneath the mast is also available on board the superyacht.
Configurable Interiors for Extended Voyages
Casali’s design ensures continuity across GX’s growing range, while allowing for significant customization. Owners can choose between five or six ensuite guest cabins, supported by a crew of six to seven. The main deck includes a spacious owner’s suite, while VIP cabins are arranged on the lower deck.
Key options include a sundeck owner’s cabin with private terrace or a fully enclosed sundeck saloon with 360-degree views, designed for extreme climates.
Summer 2026 Delivery on Track for GX42
Alongside the GX38 Voyager reveal, GX confirmed construction milestones on the first 42m superyacht GX42 RPH at SES Yachts in Istanbul. Piping and electrical systems in the accommodation areas have been completed, hull fairing is nearly finished, and outfitting of crew spaces is underway. Delivery for GX Superyachts GX42 RPH yacht remains scheduled for summer 2026.
The unveiling of the GX38 Voyager signals a decisive step for GX Superyachts into the expedition sector. With its hybrid efficiency, adaptable layouts, and capability for remote cruising, the project positions the young brand as a serious contender in the fast-growing explorer yacht market.
