Heesen’s 55m Steel Superyacht Agnetha Sold

Launched earlier this year, the 55m superyacht Agnetha has been successfully sold, with Ian Harris of Phoenix Yacht Management introducing the buyer.

The Heesen 55m Steel superyacht features exterior design by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, interiors by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, and naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

Inside the Heesen yacht, Luca Dini’s studio has created an inviting and timeless environment, characterized by warm tones and tailored details across a gross tonnage 760GT. The yacht’s showcase in the South of France highlighted her interiors in collaboration with lifestyle brands such as Molteni & C, Technogym, Frette, Oliver Treutlein, Glancy Fawcett, and The Wool Company, alongside artworks from Lyki and Tartarelli Art Gallery.

The main saloon pairs repeated sofa seating aft with a forward dining area for eight, while the skylounge above emphasizes unobstructed views thanks to the absence of pillars and mullions. A 36-square-meter beach club doubles as a wellness space, complete with a sauna clad in Alaska granite and pale Aspen wood, and opens onto a fixed swim platform for direct access to the sea.

Outdoor living spaces are a focal point on board the superyacht: the 110-square-meter sundeck is arranged with a forward-facing whirlpool, central bar, and sunpads aft, while the bridge deck aft offers alfresco dining at a bespoke teak table for 12. Additional lounge areas are located on the main deck aft and foredeck, ensuring multiple vantage points for guests.

A signature “shark tooth” motif features on the wheelhouse overhang, while the pillar-free aft superstructure enhances the yacht’s sleek profile.

The motor yacht accommodates 12 guests across six staterooms. The 86-square-meter master suite, positioned on the main deck forward, includes a private lounge, study, walk-in wardrobe, and a veranda. A VIP cabin occupies the bridge deck, while four guest staterooms are arranged on the lower deck. Crew accommodation is provided for 13, reflecting her suitability for charter as well as private ownership.

Beneath her steel hull, Agnetha carries Heesen’s Fast Displacement Hull Form, developed with Van Oossanen. Twin MTU 8V4000 M63 IMO Tier III engines deliver a top speed of 15.5 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 13 knots, with a transoceanic range of 4,500 nautical miles. On her maiden voyage from the Netherlands to Monaco, she encountered a range of weather conditions and performed reliably across multiple sea states.

No official asking price for Agnetha has been released.

For buyers still seeking a 55m Steel platform, Agnetha’s sistership Frida is currently under construction and scheduled for delivery in December 2025.
