50m Heesen 5000 Aluminium Superyacht Fan Too Sold

The 50-metre Heesen superyacht Fan Too has been sold. Delivered in 2018 and refitted in 2023, the aluminium-built yacht showcases substantial onboard volume with high-performance cruising capabilities.

Built within Heesen's 5000 Aluminium series, Fan Too's exterior was designed by Omega Architects, with interiors by Cristiano Gatto Design and naval architecture developed by Heesen. The 499GT superyacht was built as the seventh hull in the series, a platform developed to deliver the speed advantages of a semi-displacement yacht while maintaining the space and amenities expected of a larger vessel.

The interior of the superyacht showcases Cristiano Gatto's contemporary interpretation of New Deco styling, drawing inspiration from the work of French designer Jean-Michel Frank. Neutral tones, contrasting veneers and polished detailing come together to create a refined yet understated atmosphere throughout the yacht. At the heart of the interior is an expansive 50-square-metre main saloon, furnished with adaptable seating arrangements and soft chenille fabrics that allow the space to transition between casual relaxation and formal entertaining. Forward, a dedicated dining room accommodates up to 12 guests around a statement table, separated from the saloon by a soundproof partition, while large windows running along the main and upper decks ensure natural light fills the interior throughout the day.

The motor yacht features flowing lines and extensive runs of dark laminated glazing that blend seamlessly into the aluminium superstructure. The thermo-bonded glass creates a sleek, uninterrupted profile that has become a defining characteristic of the model. Outdoor spaces are arranged across four deck levels, with a private foredeck retreat, shaded upper-deck seating areas and one of the largest sundecks found on a yacht of this size. The sundeck incorporates generous lounging areas alongside a jacuzzi, while the main deck aft terrace connects directly to the saloon to create a versatile entertaining space. At the stern, a beach club and swim platform provide direct access to the water and reinforce the yacht's emphasis on outdoor living.

Forward on the main deck, the spacious owner's suite spans approximately 47 square metres and features an ensuite bathroom, along with a concealed television partition that can separate the sleeping area when desired. Design elements, including woven leather finishes, polished steel accents and Canaletto walnut veneers, are carried throughout the guest spaces, while separate crew quarters accommodate up to nine crew members across five cabins.
