The 45m Tankoa T450 hull is the first Tankoa yacht to be built at the shipyard's new Civitavecchia facility.
Inside Tankoa’s €5 Million Shipyard Investment
Construction of the aluminum hull, superstructure, and initial machinery installation took place at the Civitavecchia site, which opened in October 2024 following a €5 million investment. The facility was developed in collaboration with local authorities and currently employs around 120 workers, with five yachts in different stages of construction.

The hull’s two-day journey to Genoa involved a multi-step logistics operation, moving the superyacht by trailer to the quay, loading it onto a barge, and finally delivering it to Tankoa’s private docking area.

Tankoa CEO Vincenzo Poerio described the transfer as a milestone in the shipyard’s long-term commitment to Civitavecchia, with plans to develop the local supply chain into a full-scale production hub for yachts over 40 meters.
Key Features of the T450 Superyacht
The T450 series features exterior and interior design by Giorgio M. Cassetta, with naval architecture by Tankoa Yachts. The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests across six staterooms and is known for a versatile layout that includes a sundeck with hydromassage tub and shaded dining area, plus a beach club with opening side platforms.

The first hull in the series, Go, was launched in February 2024, while the second unit, Singolare, was launched earlier this month and is set to appear at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival.
Current Projects Across the Tankoa Fleet
According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, the world's largest yacht database, Tankoa Yachts currently has 12 yachts either in build or on order. These include three hulls from its 55-meter Tankoa T55 Sportiva line.
The Sportiva series is constructed in steel with a semi-displacement hull and can reach speeds of up to 15 knots. Each motor yacht accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins and features amenities such as a master suite with a private terrace and Jacuzzi, a beach club partially below the waterline with a pool, and a fly deck with additional sunbathing space and a second pool.

Also in the order book is one Tankoa Yachts S501 Evo, a 50m model built in aluminum. The S501 Evo offers accommodation for 12 guests in five cabins and is available with either traditional or hybrid propulsion systems designed for efficiency and low noise levels. The model has been widely recognized in the industry, winning awards for its semi-custom design and advanced lifestyle features.
The arrival of the third T450 in Genoa marks a key step in Tankoa’s plan to expand production through its new Civitavecchia facility. With multiple yachts in build, including the T55 Sportiva and S501 Evo models, the shipyard is strengthening its position in the semi-custom superyacht market.
