The milestone marks a key structural stage for the project, which will now progress into outfitting ahead of a scheduled delivery in 2027. At 57m, Project Evita is the largest yacht ever built on speculation by Heesen Yachts and represents the second hull in the Heesen 5700 Aluminium series.
A proven design team with targeted refinements
The platform follows the launch of sistership Santosha in 2024. Project Evita reunites the same core design partners as Santosha, with exterior lines by Omega Architects and interior layout by Harrison Eidsgaard. Naval architecture is by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, working alongside Heesen’s in-house engineering team.
While the overall profile remains consistent with the series, Project Evita introduces several notable refinements. Most significant is a reworked main deck aft arrangement that places social use firmly at the center of the yacht's exterior experience. A six-square-meter infinity pool anchors the space, flanked by sunpads and backed by a large lazarette dedicated to water toy storage. The configuration shifts the emphasis toward outdoor living without increasing overall length or volume.
The sundeck continues this theme, arranged across three defined zones on the yacht for sale. Sun loungers sit aft, while a forward lounge provides a quieter retreat. Amidships, an al fresco dining area and bar are positioned beneath the hardtop, creating a sheltered space suited to extended use in warmer cruising regions.
Aluminium construction and high-speed intent
Project Evita is built entirely in aluminium, with both hull and superstructure optimized for reduced weight and performance efficiency. The superyacht for sale is based on a Fast Displacement Hull Form, developed to deliver strong efficiency across a wide speed range rather than focusing solely on top-end performance.
Heesen quotes a top speed of over 21 knots, with some figures placing maximum output at approximately 21.5 knots. Equally important is the yacht’s cruising profile. At 13 knots, Project Evita is expected to achieve a transatlantic range of around 3,900 nautical miles, supporting long-distance itineraries without reliance on frequent refueling stops.
A shallow draft of 2.3m further expands the yacht’s operational envelope. This dimension allows access to cruising grounds such as the Bahamas, where deeper-draft vessels of similar size may face limitations. Heesen has described the project as the largest yacht capable of operating comfortably in such shallow-water destinations.
Interior volume shaped for balance
With a gross tonnage of 780 GT, Project Evita sits at the upper end of the volume range for aluminium yachts in this length category. Total interior space approaches 400 square meters, with the layout structured to support both privacy and social interaction across multiple decks.
Harrison Eidsgaard has developed the interior general arrangement, while Heesen Yachts Interiors has handled the interior styling. The design direction favors rich wood finishes set against a restrained cream and blue palette, with a clear nautical influence that aligns with the performance-led character of the motor yacht for sale. A central glass elevator connects all three guest decks, improving vertical circulation and accessibility while reinforcing the sense of openness within the interior.
Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests across six cabins. The owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck and spans the yacht’s full 9.5m beam. At approximately 60 square meters, the suite ranks among the larger owner’s cabins in this segment, with generous floor space and separation from guest traffic
Project Evita is on the market with Heesen and is currently asking €69,900,000.
A busy order book at Heesen
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, Heesen currently has 9 yachts either in build or on order. Among them is the 60.4m Project Ceres, a steel displacement yacht scheduled for delivery in 2029. With a volume of 1,060 GT, long-range capability of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots, and accommodation for 12 guests plus 15 crew, Project Ceres sits at the larger, expedition-capable end of Heesen’s portfolio.
Also under construction is the 50m Project Grace, a fast displacement steel yacht due for delivery in 2028. Designed inside and out by Harrison Eidsgaard, the 499 GT platform features a full-beam owner’s suite, infinity pool aft, and a cruising range of 3,800 nautical miles, reinforcing Heesen’s focus on efficient performance within sub-500 GT designs.
Both Project Ceres and Project Grace are on the market with Heesen - Grace is currently asking €49,800,000, and Ceres has a price upon request.
Rounding out the group is the 55m Project Angelica, set for delivery in 2027. Built for year-round use, the 760 GT yacht pairs Omega Architects’ exterior design with a fully customized interior by Luca Dini, underlining the yard’s ongoing strength in bespoke steel construction.
With hull joining complete, Project Evita now moves into outfitting as Heesen’s most ambitious on-spec build to date, targeting delivery in 2027. The project underscores the yard’s confidence in high-speed aluminium platforms while advancing a broader pipeline that spans both performance-led and long-range steel superyachts.
