Engineered for extended exploration
The Kando85 has been developed as a true displacement explorer, pairing a steel hull with an aluminum superstructure to prioritize durability, efficiency and transoceanic capability. Built at AvA Yachts' Antalya Free Zone facility, the explorer yacht features underwater steel plating between 8mm and 10mm thick alongside multiple watertight bulkheads - construction details intended to support extended offshore passages.
While many yachts in this size bracket focus on weekend cruising, the Kando85 has been designed around owners spending weeks or months aboard. Extensive onboard storage and practical machinery spaces support that brief, while her purposeful profile follows the familiar styling established across the wider Kando range.
Living spaces designed for longer stays
Living spaces have been planned with longer stays in mind, providing generous storage throughout the expedition yacht without compromising the open feel of the interior.
With a gross tonnage of around 160GT, the yacht accommodates up to eight guests across four cabins. The owner's suite occupies a forward position on the main deck, benefiting from panoramic windows, a dedicated office area and an en suite bathroom.
On the lower deck, guest accommodation includes a full-beam VIP suite, alongside a double cabin and a flexible twin that can also be configured as a double.
Social spaces across every deck
A spacious aft cockpit centers around integrated seating and an alfresco dining table, while the swim platform offers straightforward access to the water. Forward, the foredeck is dedicated to leisure, with a Jacuzzi positioned to enjoy elevated views while cruising or at anchor.
Above, the flybridge serves as the superyacht's primary social deck, incorporating a bar, grill, sun loungers and additional seating for entertaining outdoors.
Power comes from twin 408hp Volvo Penta D13 diesel engines, giving the Kando85 a top speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of around 9 knots. Designed around efficiency rather than outright speed, the explorer carries approximately 24,000 litres of fuel, providing a transoceanic cruising range in excess of 5,000 nautical miles. A 7.5m beam and 2.3m draft contribute to stability during longer passages while allowing access to a wide variety of cruising grounds.

AvA Yachts grows its order book
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, AvA Yachts currently has six yachts either under construction or on order. Among them is the fourth hull in the 34m Kando110 series. Built entirely in-house, the 340GT explorer accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins and offers a 2,600-nautical-mile range at 12 knots. The Kando 110 is currently listed for sale on YachtBuyer and is asking €15,450,000.
Also available is Voyage One, the first 26m Voyage90, due for delivery in 2026. Constructed entirely from aluminum with accommodation for eight guests, the semi-displacement yacht delivers a 2,900-nautical-mile range at 8 knots and represents a different approach within the AvA Yachts portfolio, placing greater emphasis on cruising speed while retaining long-distance capability. Voyage One is listed for sale on YachtBuyer with a current asking price of €4,950,000.
