Second Benetti Class 44M Superyacht Fortitude¹ Delivered Ahead of Model Debut at 2025 CYF

Following a successful launch last month, Benetti has delivered the 44m motor yacht Fortitude 1 at the shipyards' Viareggio facility.

The second Benetti Class 44M yacht features exterior and interior design by Italian designer Giorgio M. Cassetta, with naval architecture by Benetti. The new model is set to make its world debut at the 2025 Canned Yachting Festival.

As the largest fiberglass model built at the yard’s Viareggio site, the yacht develops the Class line with updated proportions, open views, and contemporary materials including FSC‑certified wood finishes.

The interior layout on board the superyacht emphasizes natural light and a sense of openness, with expansive glazing and transparent fashion plates throughout. White marble flooring on the main deck adds a refined touch to the neutral palette, while the sky lounge takes advantage of panoramic views and serves as a key social space.

The exterior spaces of the yacht include a foredeck pool with integrated loungers and seating, a custom upper deck sunpad, and a 102‑square‑meter sundeck arranged for dining, lounging, and social gatherings. The aft main deck and beach club provide additional open‑air areas designed for long days at sea.

Fortitude1 accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a full‑beam owner’s suite. Up to eight crew are housed on board the motor yacht across five cabins to ensure smooth operations on extended voyages. Low‑profile bulwarks on the main deck enhance views from the lounge, and the upper deck dining area seats 10 guests.

Powered by twin MAN V12‑1400 diesel engines, Fortitude1 reaches a top speed of 15 knots and cruises comfortably at 14 knots. At an economical speed of 11 knots, she achieves a range of 3,800 nautical miles from her 60,000‑liter fuel capacity.

Fortitude1 follows the delivery of the first Class 44M yacht, Juno’s 7, earlier this year. Benetti’s sales director Daniela Petrozzi said the project highlights the shipyard’s ability to create yachts that reflect each owner’s vision while upholding the brand’s quality and heritage.

The Class 44M series will make its world debut at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival, where it will be presented as the flagship fiberglass model in Benetti’s range.

Benetti’s Most Current Sought‑After Models

According to YachtBuyer Market Watch & Intelligence, the world's largest yacht database, Benetti currently has 56 yachts either in build or on order. Among these, the Oasis 34M, Oasis 40M and B.Now 50M Oasis stand out as the most in-demand models.

The Benetti Oasis 34M delivers a tri-deck layout, five cabins and the award-winning Oasis aft terrace with its extending sides, pool and waterside lounge. Compared to the larger Class 44M, it offers a sportier look and a more compact footprint while retaining a high level of interior space and a 2,700‑nautical‑mile range.

Stepping up in size, the Benetti Oasis 40M brings similar features on a longer 40.8‑meter platform, adding extra interior volume, an even larger owner’s suite and a 4,000‑nautical‑mile range for more ambitious cruising.

For those wanting a steel-hulled yacht with greater long-range potential, the Benetti B.Now 50M Oasis is a compelling option. At nearly 50 meters, it combines the same Oasis deck concept with six cabins, space for 12 guests and a 4,500‑nautical‑mile range. Buyers considering the Class 44M may find the B.Now 50M Oasis appealing if extended cruising and larger interior volume are top priorities.

Benetti’s delivery of Fortitude1 marks the continued growth of the Class 44M series, which will be showcased at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival. With the shipyard currently building a strong portfolio of yachts, buyers can choose from several popular models, each offering distinct advantages in size, layout and cruising capability.
