Mangusta Launch Fifth Oceano 50 Superyacht FELICITÁ

Celebrating the launch of the fifth hull in the Oceano 50 series, Mangusta welcomes 50m (164ft) superyacht FELICITÁ to the fleet as the newest addition to the lineup of this full-displacement, ocean-crossing model.

Joining sisterships like ETERNITY, ALISA, and DOKINHA, superyacht FELICITÁ features exterior styling by Alberto Mancini and naval architecture by Pierluigi Ausonio alongside Mangusta’s own technical team.

Built by the Italian shipyard Overmarine Group, the Mangusta Oceano 50 is the brand’s current flagship in its steel-and-aluminium range — a line known for its contemporary styling, long-range capability, and generous outdoor living.

With other models in the series including the Oceano 44, Oceano 55, and the forthcoming Oceano 60, which is still in development, FELICITÁ continues to showcase the sweeping elegant lines these striking Mangusta yachts are known for, with a cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles at 11 knots — making her well suited to extended passages and transoceanic itineraries.

Powered by twin MTU engines that deliver a top speed of 16 knots, life on board the superyacht centres around outdoor living, with standout areas designed to enhance time spent at sea. Highlights onboard include a beach club that unfolds into three open-air platforms at the water’s edge, and two spectacular pools, with the upper deck pool boasting a countercurrent system for active swimming.

The foredeck of the motor yacht remains wide and open, offering a blend of fixed seating and modular arrangements to support a range of social uses for onboard guests. The upper and sun decks both offer relaxed alfresco dining and lounge options.

Although the full interior scheme of superyacht FELICITÁ remains undisclosed, the yacht follows a five-cabin layout tailored to the owner’s specifications. This includes four guest cabins on the lower deck and a spacious owner’s cabin on the main deck, which features a private balcony that extends over the water, operated electronically for seamless access to sea views.

A full-beam gym also sits on the lower deck, while oversized glazing throughout ensures a light-filled atmosphere across all interior spaces.

The launch of FELICITÁ marks a key milestone for Mangusta, in what has already been a busy year. Alongside the delivery of the 44.5m (146ft) superyacht THE GREAT ESCAPE, the shipyard also confirmed the sale of a seventh Oceano 50 hull, which is currently under construction under the project name NEXUS.
