Years of chartering inspired a fully personalised superyacht
The delivery marks the culmination of an ownership journey that began through chartering yachts in the Mediterranean before progressing into a bespoke new-build project. After exploring a range of yachts during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, the owner selected Benetti's Oasis 40M platform and worked alongside Fraser's project management team and Leonardo Santi Design to customise the yacht while maintaining the shipyard's production schedule. Rather than adopting the standard interior specification, the owner chose to create a yacht that reflected their own tastes and cruising style.
Bespoke interiors elevate an award-winning platform
Although based on Benetti's successful Oasis 40M series, Lady Sarah features a distinctive interior defined by custom finishes and Italian craftsmanship. Natural marble replaces the standard bathroom materials, while bespoke bronze detailing provides a consistent design theme throughout the superyacht. Furnishings from Capital Collection, Minotti, Rugiano and SoftHouse, together with bespoke styling by Bergomi Interiors, create a refined residential atmosphere. As the 29th yacht built on the Oasis 40M platform, Lady Sarah joins a model inducted into the YachtBuyer Hall of Fame, reserved for production yachts that achieve the highest distinction in the independent YachtBuyer review process, after winning the 2023 YachtBuyer Model Award.
Proven performance for long-range cruising
Built with a GRP displacement hull and superstructure, Lady Sarah spans three decks with an internal volume of 385GT. Twin 1,400hp MAN V12 diesel engines deliver a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles. Accommodation is arranged for up to 10 guests in five cabins, supported by a crew of up to nine, making the motor yacht well suited to extended cruising in destinations including the Mediterranean and Red Sea.
Charter debut planned for 2027
Following delivery, Lady Sarah will spend her first season cruising privately before joining the Fraser charter fleet from summer 2027. The project also demonstrates how a proven semi-custom platform can be extensively personalised without departing from the engineering and production efficiencies that have helped make the Oasis 40M one of Benetti's most successful modern yacht series.
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, Benetti currently has 49 yachts in the order book. Notable projects include the 85m superyacht Project Life, representing one of the builder's latest custom flagship projects, and the 50m superyacht Inari, a B. Now 50M, currently under construction.
